Hey Jesse, been enjoying your videos and advice! I started out in RF libraries but realized that wasn't the best way to create consistent income. I'm a young 60 and started doing this about 2 years ago. Now I'm seeing placements in TV shows and seeing my royalties starting to snowball. My last BMI statement doubled from the one before!

A good way to check out companies and if they place tracks or not is to use tunesat ! :-) Then you will get an overview if something will run or not !

Where might I find a list of the more respected and high-profile music libraries. And typically what kind of deal does the library make with you? How much % of your placement money would they get. Thanks, I def need to find some places to get my name on libraries. I have been with one publisher for a few years with 0 results and when I moved to the UK I signed with a company and tried to build a relationship with them and found them almost never responding and eventually I dropped them and am now hunting to get onto more. So I need to find more places and start building new relationships with them. Also I only have 22 tracks in various genre's and should focus on more content so when I find a place I am happy with, I can provide a larger selection of tunes. Appreciate the video!

What are some good music library companys?

What about copyrighting my music? And Mixing? that gets expensive!

Can you work with multiple exclusive libraries at the same time? Just submit different music to each lib?
