Luka is averaging more shots than anyone in the playoffs so far @ 26 a game. Way too many shots for THIS team. He's shooting 42% from the field and 34% from 3. Those are horrible numbers. On the other hand, Kyrie is averaging 18 shots a game on 50% from the field and 3pt line. If Luka moved the ball more and played off the ball instead of hunting' for stats while pounding the ball, this series would be a lot easier. Kyrie should be at the point a lot more and the pace should be a lot faster.
interesting take, I feel like we need luka on the ball so he can build rhythm in these playoffs because we know those numbers aren’t gonna stay that inefficient, but if gaff DJJ and lively can figure things out offensively luka should be giving the ball up a bit more
@@pfunk42I don’t think Luka is hunting for stats. I think he’s being highly competitive and wants to take matters into his own hands for the most part but I believe he’ll figure it out. He does trust his teammates and he has shown that time and time again.
Be didn't outplay shit in game 2. Lively has always defended bigger centers better then gafford. And getting him in foul trouble early helped big time as well. Mavs in 6
I know that if our role players wont step up offensively, than it's a loss for Mavs. It's impossible that Kawhi would be so bad in game 2. Also they will shoot 3pt a little bit better. So we desperately need our guys to step up on the offensive end.
Now that we’re back home hopefully i soft ass role players with no dog in them can find it in themselves to play decent basketball and not piss their pants from the moment being too big
The Mavs offense has only ever been decent at best so far in both games. Luka hasn't had a good offensive game yet. I'm sure Kawhi will play better as the series goes on but playoff Luka still hasn't really made an appearance here, he's just kinda been okay. If Luka has a good game *or* the Mavs role players hit their open shots, either of those would result in a comfortable win. No guarantee either of those happen (especially the role players) but don't be shocked when Luka single-handedly wins one of the next couple of games with an insane performance.
Harden it’s always kicking his legs out. Just watch it his legs. Always sticks one out to get the foul. The only reason I don’t like him. Good man’s though. Mavs effort is the key.
luka had 4 turnovers but this guy somehow made it about gafford when it comes to turning over the ball to kawhi while gafford didnt turnover once such nauseating experience sometimes listening to this luka glazing
Since Luka was good at defensing 1-on-1 I feel like the Clippers are going to use a lot more pick n rolls with the player that Luka is guarding. Harden might get more assists next game.
Stop being delusional Clippers do no have an advantage over the Mavs because your best players are now old and not the same as what they were 10 years ago. People age and don’t get better as they age that’s a FACT!! Otherwise MJ would still be playing and winning championships
The Clipper fan base is not delusional about age and still mad about trading away young talent (SGA) to keep getting old vets like Paul Pierce, Rondo, John Wall, Bledsoe, etc. These guys are in the early-mid 30s which was the same age as MJ when he got his last 3 rings. While we would like to see a young clipper team, it is nice to still have 4 stars who are still producing at a decent rate. If this is the team who can break the curse, we'll take it.
I have no reason after this series to ever listen to locked on clippers. With that being said I like Darian so much in the couple times watching him on the crossover. Keep up the good work fellas
Hey thanks so much for the kind words man! I’d love if you guys listened to locked on clippers but my actual channel, this one I’m commenting on right now, I talk about every team in the playoffs. So hypothetically if we lose, I’ll breakdown all your games going forward for the playoffs. I do a lot of NBA history stuff during offseason too
@@dimedropperpodI’ll sub the alt pod. I’ve enjoyed listening to your takes on LoC for the few episodes I’ve heard. Lots of reasonable arguments. Still think Mavs win though.
This series definitely living up to the hype before the start! I'm still having Mavs in 6. It'll be 3:1 from Dallas and another Clippers win in LA. Then the Mavs get it at home.
Agree, clippers are a very good team, I just think ky and luka end up getting it done, pj, green, exum etc should hit a few threes each at home per game as role players normally get it done at home, I solely think we win due to getting home court advantage back in game 2, we haven’t clicked offensively and luka hasn’t had his nuclear game yet, I still think that will be in Dallas
My take on watching the Clips this year: the only way a “big 3” work is knowing their roll. Clippers still don’t seem to have that completely figured out. The chatter after a loss is always *blank* wasn’t aggressive enough, *blank* forced too many shots, we were trying to get *blank* going and it took shots away from the other guys. I said it after game 1… I wasn’t worried about Kawhi coming back, because the Clips shot 50% from 3 and Zu played his best ever playoff game in game 1. They honestly can’t get much better than that. Disrupting that rhythm was the best possible thing for Dallas. Having “more talent” doesn’t give you an advantage if the players don’t compliment each other whatsoever. Dallas in 5. Go clippers
Tbh tho as a veteran of the past two clippers series, I think kawhi could still go nuclear at any moment and find his rhythm. All it takes is two of the four HOF players on the clippers to have a decent game for a chance to win. That’s the advantage of more talent, you don’t have to rely on the same two guys having near perfect nights every game. The clippers have four stars who can go for 20-30 any night. Hell even Powell and Zu can go for 20. As a mavs fan the clippers offense scares me a lot for this reason. I think the rest of this series comes down to mavs role guys hitting shots and playing defense to slow down the clippers.
Luka the brick layer donic was feeling dangerous shot 7 for 5 million and Mac fans chant mvp on that 🤫😂🫣🫣🫣😮💨😂😂😂 you are barbecue chicken for okc. They are going to smoke that mav pack🥱🤤✌️🤭 btw sga is the mvp it is not even close anyone can shoot 7 for a million and foul merchant through flopping .
