Recently haven't been feeling myself... Diagnosed with diabetes at the healthiest I've ever been and have been struggling to find a new balance. Just today I started meditation/mindfulness to try to get myself back on track, and the fact that Tia brings up how important it is to take time every day to just chill out for a few is just another reason why I look up to her so much as an athlete 🤘🏼💪🏼 keep it up Tia!!

Follow a book : Undo It by Anne and Dean Ornish. No reason to have diabetes in this day and age. No reason what so ever apart from lack of knowledge.

@Age of Empires Multiplayer Gameplay I already didn't eat or drink much of that at all before my diagnosis... I brought my A1C from 10 to 7.7 in less than 60 days with just readjusting my diet (basically no carbs at breakfast, and then 20-25 at lunch and dinner, maybe 15 for snacks and prioritizing lean protein and healthy fats) and making sure I'm working out every day. My doc was impressed at how quickly my numbers came down since I had been on meds for only about a month.

Tia, please share the findings from the case study--if you can. I am curious to read the results. You are an unbelievable use case of someone (particularly a female) that is in a different stratosphere than any on your peers. There are so many factors that have led to your ability to dominate, but there might be some additional things that are uncovered (pretty sure that will be the case)! I am constantly learning and looking to get better, and help others as well. Sharing is TRULY caring. :) I add Concentrace trace minerals to my water and Celtic or Himalayan sea salt to stay hydrated. It's HUGE as we lose so much sodium during workouts and and are already deficient in trace minerals in general. I love how you, Shane and the PRVN team share what you can with your fan base. It's amazing what we can do as human beings if we have to right knowledge and mind set. Looking forward to Madison--BIG TIME.

I was fortunate enough to meet you and Shane at the Torian box in the lead up to the Torian Pro in 2019. You were doing a photo shoot at the time with Rich. You & Shane were very gracious to take the time to talk to me & allow a photo with both me & my daughter who was 5 at the time. I’m looking forward to the moment that my daughter (who is now 7 1/2) fully understands the significance of that moment. The Olympics will be held in Brisbane in 2032 & I’m hopeful that the photo will be an inspiration to her by then. I went to the Torian Pro that year & was fortunate enough to witness how caring Tia was towards her Grandmother outside the stadium. It was a lovely moment that was not interrupted by her fans. Stay true, stay strong & continue to inspire the next generation. That’s what’s up peeps…that’s what’s up!!🇦🇺🦘I wanted to take the comments from 100 to 101. 😂

Yes, very interesting subject. I think trying to figure out what to eat and how much to eat based upon your body makeup and exercise output is one of the hardest things, and it keeps changing. I know many wanna see Tia fail or are expecting someone to take over on these years Games, but I just cant! The thing I really love about her, is that years back when she was compteting in the games, she had what was percieved as a poor attitude, maybe lack of self confidence... but then she came back the next year with a different mindset and pushed herself harder than ever. Now she's the 6x fittest woman on earth. I really admire her and her growth physically and mentally. She's incredible.

This winter and last winter my whole household (in Brisbane) seem to have had more than a usual amount of respiratory type viruses. I think it's really neat that you are doing a deep dive into yourself to learn more about your body. I love that kind of stuff too, which is why I started wearing a Whoop band. As far as the calories burn....holy smokes!! I landscape and we burn 2300 calories on average. On occasion I'll burn around 3600, but if anyone has landscaped here and y'all know how hard landscapers work, Tia is working 1.5x that 😳😬.

I think pickles have a lot process sodium and that can contribute to retain liquids but extra cellular liquid and make fell puffy or even stiff in certain articulations….one clinical symptom of high Cortisol for the oxidative stress is craving more salty food! So meditation and activities can disconnect your brain decrease the cortisol and you recovery and rest better! Hope can share the final result of the study that you run looks pretty interesting!! @dawnsabella130
@dawnsabella130 2 года назад
You don't need a lot of salt and shouldn't see an impact on your BP. I use about 2-4 pieces of Himalayan salt for 25oz. In other words, the water shouldn't taste like salt. You're just helping your body retain the water a little longer and avoid becoming over-hydrated (which is what was happening to Tia when she talked about peeing often). Also, 1 trick I learned to help avoid heat exhaustion is to drink 12-24oz of water about 15 minutes before heading outside. This has been the most effective practice for me to avoid issues in hot weather.

In college wrestling as a heavyweight, I used to consume over 10,000 calories a day. I weighed 235 with 5.0 % body fat. We ran hard for an hour every morning, on good days, I would finish the ten miles in just under an hour. (That is ten miles in a row at under a six minute pace.) Then we would lift weights, at the time I used to bench press 445 pounds. Used to be an hour to one and one-half hours daily (Five days a week, Mon.-Thur. and then Saturday). When my traps would start raising my arms the coach would tell to lift lighter but longer. I have a tendency to get muscle-bound. Then practice in the afternoon for an hour and a half. This is harder than any cross-fit event. Imagine someone pushing and pulling on you with max effort. Imagine the shape we were in. After being dead tired after practice, I would do forty pull-ups in a row, (legitimate pull-ups, no swinging like y'all do). I had a senior nursing student and a nutritionist calculate my calorie intake for a week. I remember the total was over 10,000 calories a day. That was fifty years ago, but I still bench press 300 pounds in my late sixties.

Pickle juice is routinely used for health purposes. It reduces muscle cramps. Helps with hydration. Boosts gut health from probiotics. Contains antioxidants. The vinegar in pickle juice prevents spikes in blood sugar. Pickle juice contains electrolytes in the form of lots of sodium and some magnesium and potassium. Yeah, when ya hit the gym/track/pool/football stadium, everyday all day, ya hafta supplement sodium. I even forget that we sweat when we swim! On that sweaty note I’m off to the gym. ✌
