Volume 36 is a parallel to volume 15, the main difference is that there are flowers (volume 36) in the exact places that the dead members used to be in (volume 15): Uvo, Pakunoda, Shal and Kortopi. The important detail is that Kaluto is in Hisoka's former place, no flower because he didn't die, and now he is the spiders' number 4 cuz Hisoka had that number before and Illumi was confirmed to being number 11, that is the same number that Uvo used to have, when he was shown as a troupe member, so that's why he is in the same place as Uvo and holds his flower. Since there aren't more new members the same cannot be done with the other flowers.

And also in Shalnarks fortune it says that when he needs to answer the phone, he won't be able to because the God of death (Hisoka) will kill him. So if he had answered the phone he could have escaped or something

He couldn't because he had lent his power to Chrollo. The kicker is that Chrollo could have released his ability but Shalnark told him to not do it.

Right after the Chrollo vs Hisoka fight and then on the boat when Chrollo Benolenov and Shizuku team up she says Chrollo's skill hunter is like the Death Note. Meaning most of the abilities he steals the original users dies. So I think he can't keep abilities forever unless they are strengthened through NEN after death.

@@Rich-3000 he had thoughts before the queen consumed Pokkle but the fact remains that a nen user is 1000x stronger than normal humans so it would make sense Pokkles's personality was incorporated into Meruem since it was clearly stated he was absorbed into the king. I see it similar to Fullmetal Alchemist. With Ling and Greed. Yes Greed had a Philosopher stone made of thousands of sacrificed humans but Ling's mental fortitude pushed him beyond and he was able subdue and at times persuade the homunculus "Greed" to regain control of his body even though Homunculus were an amalgamation of lost souls.

@@jonathancruz915 yes, he is incorporated but not a similar reincarnation of Kite and the other Chimeras whereas they maintained the memory and personality of a specific person.

@@Rich-3000 you can't prove that though it's all just speculation. And Kite is a special case because he used an ability called "I can't die like this" to inhabit the body of Meruem's twin. Just because pokkle wasn't the first consciousness to inhabit the king doesn't mean he wasn't able to be the dominant mentality eventually. It's all speculation though
