Quill tends to do things the hard way... Like the guy who said he always did things the hard way... his friend looked at the guy's son playing in the yard... and the guy said "Yep, standing up in a canoe while shooting rapids"

Any reason why he isnt just putting a T2 miner in the Super alloy cave that hes seen multiple times on the map? cause it feels like he found an imperfect solution and assumed its the only way

He hasn't realized that that's what it is... Or that the Map is telling him that there are mining points. He has really, really, really bad Streamer/RU-vid Blindness.

@@OpDDay2001 He realized that's what the symbols on the map meant when he first saw them, which is why he planed a trip to the Super Alloy Mine and NW Uranium Mine. He even set foot inside the Super Alloy cave, and might even have discussed putting an Ore Extractor in there at the time? But then immediately got distracted by the Uranium cave and the stuff around there. Then when he went back to the Super Alloy Cave for the Warden quest he seemed to have forgotten what it was. And _now_ he never seems to look at the map to find things, only to confirm what he's already found.

Quill simply forgets things/get distracted if more than one thing happens at once, which gets exacerbated in this game, because that happens often. Just this episode he unlocked like 4 or 5 different things, including the third tier flashlight that made me think he would finally upgrade it! But he got distracted with one of the other 4 or 5 things unlocked, focused on it and forgot the rest. The fact that he's making a RU-vid video and putting effort into making it entertaining doesn't help with that.

15:00 starting to bug me that you don't just drop something else, pick up a 3rd iron, and build a locker to shove lower-priority crap into. like all the blocking iron

10:10 Quill got a bit late to that base, if he got there before the crater started filling with water it would be full of dust (terrible visibility) and the meteor would be much bigger.

Well guess he's not struggling without it so doesn't click he needs one. I'm just waiting on that oxygen. He notices it's not going up much,t2 trees locked behind it, and thinking rockets... meanwhile hasn't built any t1 trees he's had for a while now...because trees and oxygen. Pffffrrrttt.

Hey Quill, not that you actually read comments, but FWIW... I've heard this game has multiple endings. I don't know what they are, so I don't know whether or not this will change things, but remember that your prisoner release conditions for being on this planet prohibits making money or owning anything.

super alloy can be mined with a tier 2 miner in one location (it doesn't show on the map)

One of each is fine, just build tree spreaders and butterfly farms to get oxygen/plants/insects up

Another person with the weird concept that you one get ONE chance to get everything and can never come back. The idea of just building a out post and clearing the structure and then sorting everything is just so much of a impossible concept to most. They even give so much iron for LOCKERS to store the stuff in.

He's already at the point where he has infinite resources (technically, I'm sure he'll set up the super alloy extractor any episode now). There is little point entirely cleaning out every place. He already takes more than he really has to out of these wrecks (frickin food seeds). Really only highly processed/dense items (rods, rockets) and a couple HQ non-craftables are worth any trip currently.

So many preconceptions are screwing with the gameplay. We need a gaming law, you can't moan about things you cause yourself by action or inaction. Especially missing areas that would have been great earlier, whilst attempting to save time by going AfK, because you know better. Now your frustrated, wasting time, picking up random rocks, whilst moaning about your lack of alloy. Yes we know, you could not be bothered to collect it, or anything useful when offered it on a plate. 😂 Now you pay the price. You're so good at games, unless you try to be overly clever. Then it's a slow motion train wreck
