OMG, dude! There's something wrong with you. You appear intelligent but you say things on the contrary. The official count of islands of the Philippines is 1,107 high tide (1, 108 low tided), and Charlene Gonzales was right. The newly found islands by a more sophisticated imaging system reveals the new 534 islands (unofficial) as the government still has to physically inspect those islands to ensure they are not just sandbars or glitch in the images they were referencing. Until the Philippine government announces the official count of islands of the country is 534 more than before, please don't say it as if it's the official count. It's 2018 but the Philippine government has not made the official count yet.

During Marcos Regime he introduce the term ARCHIPELAGIC in UN because during the time in UN there is no ARCHIPELAGIC basis in term of territories, Former Ferdinand Marcos wanted to reclaim the islands in the pacific that the part of Marharlika Empire before.
