Good math, but just mentioning that since food is way more valued in the deepwoken verse, another item would be a better fit for the conversion. Something such as the dumbbell, since the price is usually a constant through time, would work. But just suggesting

@mymousebroke I have no way of telling how valuable wood is because of the fact it would mean that 3 sticks (1 wood) are worth $3.60 (5 notes) and that hardly seems right, not to mention that would also make the gold in the blacksmith shop worth $36 (50 notes ignoring the 50% discount you can get basically for free). You also have to note that a single piece of gold you have in your inventory is half the size of your Deepwoken character in its raw form (the gold blocks you find in mines) which makes it around 2 foot 6 tall and wide giving us a volume of 15.68 cubic feet of gold or 18,874.58 pounds of gold which would make it $23,461, which with this logic is worth 50 notes (not to mention the 50% discount you get for not ratting out a kid at his job)

Deepwoken characters are faster than lightning no matter what and characters with the talent light speed reflexes (this is kinda a stretch but it makes sense) have light speed scaling
or instead just convert the enchant stone to black market prices since those are accurate prices that people give usd currency for. After finding how much 1 enchant cost divide it by 5 (because 5 medals can get u 1 enchant) and u will then be left with an accurate price in usd. U then multiply that amount until you have enough for a SINGULAR slice of domino’s pizza and multiply 1 by the same amount needed to afford 1 slice of pizza. This is how u can translate medallions to usd
Id grab the enchant/enchant stone, and notice how they sell for 300 notes, a Megurger is 15 notes, so 1 enchant = 20 Megurgers, a cheeseburger irl goes for around 5$, therefore medallion is worth around 100$ Which is a much more boring, though a little more realistic calculation

If you think about it, that crystal stuff in real life is just a temporary enchant stone that gives you an edited version of NLK on your body that makes you lose sanity until you lose the enchant and also makes you see fake realitys and also if you add too many "special enchant stones" they will kill you.
I would like to add my 2 cents to this, an ironclad which is the equivalent to a frigate class warship which has a wide range of prices anywhere from 200 million to 1.2 billion, however for the sake of simplicity I will assume it’s worth 600 million usd, it sells for 6,000 notes ingame meaning (600 million divided by 6,000 = 100,000) each note in Deepwoken should be worth 100,000 usd. Medallions can be used to purchase enchant stones which sell for 200 notes, you need 5 medallions for an enchant stone meaning (200 divided by 5 = 40) each kyrsan medallion is worth 40 notes and (100,000 x 40 = 4 million) therefore each kyrsan medallion is worth 4 million usd. Meaning you can not only buy one pizza with a kyrsan medallion but you can buy (a large cheese pizza in dominoes is worth $9.99 so 4 mil divided by 9.99 = 4,400.4) 4,400 large pizzas with your medallion.

Another method to find it's worth is notes to usd Then armor enchant to notes (roughly 300 notes) so 1 medallion is 60 notes, aka 2 emeralds, which is 400 usd minimum, so 1 medallion = 400 usd using this method Edit: for the emerald im using Orlandeu's emerald from the tutorial since the tutorial is cannon and we dont know if the pricing of the emeralds we sell in main game are edit 2: this also proves the "riches" that erisia holds
yeah the dye method is really flawed because the deepwoken dye is waaaay different than the one irl, of course you can dye your clothing with both but the deepwoken dye can also dye metal like helmets, boots, armor and A PART OF YOUR SOUL (resonance), plus the notes method gives actual value to the medallions found in (currently) THE DEEPEST PART OF THE WORLD

Birbingish, hate to be a nerd but your are WRONG, there is a small Easter egg down in layer 2 where you can meet the captain. You know, that one dude from the tutorial who gives you a free armor piece, mantra, and dumbbell when you first boot up dw. So back to the og point, you can actually meet him down in layer 2. You can talk to him BUT here is where things get tricky, if you didn’t do the tutorial on that life he says nothing to you, BUT if you do the tutorial and survive alllll the way to layer 2 and talk to him, he’ll become flabbergasted and tell you how after the ship got bombed he sunk down to the depths, have a little run in with the divers and learn they don’t like pirates all to much, get sent to layer 2, and tell you how his only salvation is kyrsan medallions which are enough to have only 1 or 2 set you up for the rest of your LIFE, which considering the average life span of a person is 79 and the average GDP is around 55,000 a year (after some quick maths) the total is about 4.41 MILLION DOLLARS throughout their entire life. This means a single kyrsan medallion are worth anywhere between 3 and 5 million dollars (and also Klaris is scamming you). So to round out most likely that a single kyrsan medallion could pay for about a entire extended family’s worth of Domino’s life-time supply of pizza
