RIDGID releases 23 new tools for 2023. From chainsaws and string trimmers to glue stick melters and right-angle impact wrenches. The Home Depot shelves and HomeDepot.com will be content with orange.
2yrs too late for me (have the M12 2564) but would like to see the testing on it when it's available. Two years ago I wouldn't even have expected Ridgid even have a ratchet, esp. after the JobMax attachment unobtanium business had gone on for a couple years already by then. Now, they have a full complement of power ratchets and this right-angle impact! No published specs yet but will be interesting to see for sure.
While the description says "tool only" it does come with one each of a bi-metal ru-vid.comUgkx0vyBwjtx9GGOuiqUVT2sRoYqmDoNT_RI and HCS blade plus an adaptor plate for non-DeWalt blades. Wish I had known that before I bought the blade kit, but oh well. Since I already have a DeWalt drill, charger and batteries there was no need to buy more of those so this was a great deal. There is one other consideration. DeWalt does't sell the depth guide separately so you need to buy the three parts which make it up -- the N275350 block assy, the N275341 metal rod and the N278801 knob. Amazon does sell all three.
Wow. Ridgid must have heard the people complain about not having enough tools in the line up or not being an interesting enough power tool company. I want to hear people complain now lol. Those looked great
Wow some really nice additions now! Ashame I already have most of these in one of the other TTI camps already (Ryobi OPE stuff, M12 right angle impact, etc.) but nice Ridgid has this stuff now.
I'm mainly ridgid but have some ryobi because they have wider range of outdoor and plumbing tools etc, I'm just hoping this spring they come out with a bunch of attachments for the weed eater like ryobi.
Excited to see Ridgid finally stepping it up. The auger down had to batteries on it so does that mean it’s really a 36v tool? I hope so because then maybe they’ll step up other 18v OPE to 36v.
by the way, amazon have low profile anvil adapters. these adapters can take you from 3/8 to 1/2" without much extra length! these are a huge improvement!! you no longer need to buy half inch.
Hopefully they send you out the 12Amp EXP for you to retest all the impacts that can benefit from so much juice. I wanna see how much the Oldie, but goodie Octane High Torque can put down with that much pixels behind it maybe it will dethrone the Dewalt 💪👍🏻
Ridged is a solid tool system. All the tools feel solid In the hand. Plus life time warranty. Im switching over slowly from makita dewalt and my ryobi toys r us kit. Ryobi is awesome. Lightest tools ever and not bad
Well now im In a tough spot, Have all brushless ryobi, was gonna slowly move to dewalt since I plan to do residential electrical but then ridgid does this. Hrrrrrrrm. Probably still gonna go dewalt
Hi Tim, I’ve experienced ridged has more power and longer run time than Milwaukee! Looks to me that ridgid and hilti are pro grade, Milwaukee is one notch lower!
I just hope that string trimmer is prepped for additional addons because if they didn't plan for a broom, or edge trimmer, brush cutter, extension trimmer etc... It's not worth the jump. The other brands have the adaptable pole... I hope it is because I really want the outdoor stuff.
Rigid never had a really good jigsaw. I hope this is in the past. The new full size jigsaw looks like the same Milwaukee M18, and the compact model could be a good replacement for the hybrid M12.
I’ve been interested in Rigid in the past, nice warranty, but their cordless product line has been so small for so long, I went elsewhere. Why would I spend all that money again to switch at this point? Too late to the game, Rigid.
I'm in Canada and I bet next to none of these tools will be available or in stock at the actual store maybe online but for an HD brand the physical store gives Ridgid products such little space for stock. I'm all in on their products I have thousands of dollars worth of their tools but I find their new stuff has horrible build quality and their availability here in Canada isn't great. So it's hard to get excited about new tool announcements from them
Yea OK..What you RU-vidrs should really be explaining to people is the EXACT and SPECIFIC instructions to the RIDGID WARRANTY. There are many other brands on the market. But trying to promote this, that, thing and the other without going in Exact Specifics of the LSA warranty process is a misleading video. Tell all the info or none.
