@@whaleping I actually liked that episode because I like the Almighty Mewtwo more than Shadow and here is why the Almighty Mewtwo won legally the fight: Although Shadow is brutally strong, the Almighty Mewtwo can easily NEGATE Shadow's techniques and attacks by reading his mind which is OP in general. You should understand that negating an opponent's powers and techniques is really broken, making them powerless during the entire fight. In other words, Shadow had no chance to defeat the Almighty Mewtwo due to the negation that I talked before and yes, negation is so ridiculously broken. At least Shadow finally got a win by just beating his waifu.
Link VS Cloud (2012), Ken VS Terry, and Sora VS Pit were initially a Win, a loss, and a loss, prior to November 2015, September 2019, and October 2021 respectively. And while Dracula IS in Smash Ultimate, he is a BOSS character, meaning it's not the same as being a playable character.
Dracula: You're right. You're not a man. You're a PIG. Let me hear you SQUEAL. *Proceeds to brutally rip Ganondorf in half and drink his blood.* "WA-LU-I-GI YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!"
Does Wally vs. Sonic count since that's explicitly _Archie Comics_ Sonic? And wasn't that Pikachu explicitly Ash's Pikachu from the anime? I guess that makes it more 50/50, but kinda curious about that.
While i can let Pikachu slide in this case since the Smash incarnation seems at least partially inspired by the anime, i don't think Archie Sonic should count since they explicitly bring up how diffrent he is from his video game counterpart.
I'd say they count 'cuz, while they're different versions of the same character, they're still adapted from the video games and look basically the exact same. Now if it was Detective Pikachu or Movie Sonic, then I think those shouldn't count.
@@JLuisJoni They may look the same, but they are otherwise very diffrent. Archie Sonic especially was specifically excluded from Sonic's analisys in Mario vs Sonic 2018 not only because it would have arguably been the biggest stomp in Deathbattle history (Mario was put at city level in that episode and given some small planet level scaling to Wario while Archie Sonic was at least put at country level in his base form and at multiversal in his super and ultra forms while having reality warping and passive fate hax on his side as well) but also because of how diffrent he was from the games which his own episode goes further into detail with.
@@JLuisJoni Have you ever read a Archie Sonic Comic? It’s made VERY clear he’s from a different universe and Is a different version of the character. By that logic does Scour count as smash bros character? This Is of characters themselves that have been In Death Battle. Not a different version from another universe or source material. Also Archie Sonic Is confirmed to be none cannon to game Sonic but game Sonics universe does exist some where In Archie Sonics universe. Also Archie Sonic Is actually based off of the SATAM Cartoon. This Is like saying Super Sonic X Universe Sonic (anime series) counts as a game character. Also this and Sonic X are 2 different things.
@@JeezAlax I don’t know, while Disney did bought these franchises I still prefer to them as separate entities- and the Disney originals being Disney itself.
It would've been funny if you put Waluigi's victory line at 6:22 , only to give a "WAH?!" at 6:23 after the fakeout. Then again, however, was anyone really fooled?
Two of these entries I'm not entirely sure about. The first one being Ganondorf vs. Dracula. Yes, I am aware that you can't play as Dracula, but he is one of the bosses in Smash Bros Ultimate. But then again, if we're just strictly talking about the playable characters in the Smash Bros series, then this entry is justifiable. The other being the Wally West vs. Sonic. Again, I am fully aware that Sonic is playable in Smash Bros ever since Smash Bros Brawl. However, there's one problem, the Sonic used in this fight wasn't game Sonic, it was Archie's Sonic. Game Sonic and Archie Sonic may look very similar, but they couldn't be anymore different. It's kinda like comparing the Comic version of the the Marvel Superheroes and Supervillains, and the MCU versions of their respected characters. So I don't know if this technically counts.
@@morphstarchangeling8024 i get cha though i do kinda want a death battle between smg3 and bizzaro (smg4 vs dc) tbh though as cool as i think dc is i do really want a non marvel character to beat a dc character
Here goes an idea Every collateral death on death battle Like the people at the beginning of goku black vs reverse flash, every living thing(except the fighters) that died on screen counts, it has to be on screen so hulk vs broly killing incalculable people by destroying the galaxy won't count
Yeah and here’s why. He’s canon so it’s fair just because it’s a different Sonic doesn’t mean he can’t be used. Also the Comics are adaptations from the games so I think it’s fair
I guess WarGreymon killed charizard because he didn’t get into smash(but honestly I find people who think Pokemon can beat digimon faces priceless lmao)
They should dive into the concept of Eaters and the real WarGreymon / Omnimon. Cyber Sleuth wasn't that bad but it had a more busted version of WarGreymon
You know it's sad since the Cloud Vs Link rematch in over 2 years we haven't seen another smash brothers character on Death battle. Like over 30 matches at this point despite before hand it happening on average at least after every 5-10. Feel like there are still a lot of good ones worth a death battle. Like how come of all characters Dimitri was the first Fire Emblem death battle combatant?
I was thinking about Biff Weeds "matchups for all the smash characters" video and how to complete it with the 2 (technicaly 3) characters that he didn't include in that video, because they wheren't out at the time, Kazuya and pyra/mythra Kazuya i got Wesker (Iori yagami as well, but thats just a lesser Heihachi vs Geese) but i can't come up with anything for Pyra/Mythra (a match that involves them alongside Rex would be apreciated)
Sora got LeBron James (kingdom hearts vs space jam) Characters that aren't from Disney of Warner bros who play a big part in side stories with Disney and Warner bros
I think the fight between sonic and flash should not cound, because Wiz and bommstick Said themselves that "this" sonic is a completely different character than in the games. Evidence: Mario vs sonic ep.100
Much as I love the Digimon franchise I don't know how justified that would've been considering Smash is reserved exclusively for characters who originated in video games and, well... do Tamagotchis count as video games? 🤔
I am going to say this right now, Flash VS Sonic does not count as the Sonic used was Archie Comics' version of the Blue Blur as Comic Book Sonic is extremely different from his Video Game Counterpart.
@@DudeDudeDudeDude892 There's a damn reason why Game Sonic didn't include his Archie feats in the revisit with Mario as in this quote at the end of that episode. "Archie Comics' version of Sonic has "feats surpassing his game iteration". But the histories and abilities of Archie and game-continuity Sonics are too different to be considered a single entity"
@@generalkinobi6215 Still doesn't count as this quote from the ending of Mario VS Sonic (2018) says otherwise. "Archie Comics' version of Sonic has "feats surpassing his game iteration". But the histories and abilities of Archie and game-continuity Sonics are too different to be considered a single entity." Sure they are both Sonics but Archie's version of the Blue Blur has done things that his Game counterpart has never done usually involving reality warping, turning back time, bringing the dead back to life and etc etc like hell Archie Sonic's Chaos Wish powers is an insta-win against basically anyone and Ultra Sonic is just as broken than what his Game Counterpart can do with his Super form and it's that very thing why Knuckles didn't get his powers and feats from the comics in his fight with Donkey Kong like Archie Knuckles got Godlike powers which according to Ben himself, he said and I quote, "essentially makes him an entirely different character from the Knuckles of the Sonic games."
Waluigi has been hiring several outsiders to kill Smash characters, only a few of them were Smash characters clashing each another Keep in mind the smash characters thing is about the main playable fighters. Dracula in Ganondorf VS Dracula doesn't count For the Mega Man Battle Royale, it is implied that only the classic Mega Man is the only one that is a main fighter in Smash, so yeah... Also, Cloud was former non-Smash character before SSB Wii U DLC. Terry also was added in SSB Ultimate DLC before this video is uploaded, same goes too with Sephiroth. For more information, search on internet
Propally a Metaphor of Waluigi never made it to Smash, so the Smash character wins Waluigi said "Oh no I lost" and the Smash character loses "Yes I won" probably he hates Smash bros because he never made it to Smash all those years hes a Assist Throphy
So for the Smash cast, the fighters in roster order that have been featured are Mario/Dr. Mario (Sonic the Hedgehog), Donkey Kong (Knuckles the Echidna), Link/Young Link/Toon Link (Cloud Strife), Samus/Zero Suit Samus (Boba Fett), Yoshi (Riptor), Kirby (Majin Buu), Fox (Bucky O'Hare), Pikachu (Blanka), Luigi (Tails Prower), Captain Falcon (Johnny Cage), Peach (Zelda), Bowser (Ganondorf), Zelda/Sheik (Peach), Ganondorf (Bowser/Dracula), Mewtwo (Shadow the Hedgehog), Pit (Sora), Wario (King Dedede), Snake (Sam Fisher), Pokemon Trainer (Tai Kamiya), Charizard (The other Kanto starters/Agumon), Sonic (Mario/The Flash), Lucario (Renamon), Mega Man (Astro Boy/the other Mega Men), Ryu (Scorpion/Jin Mishima), Ken (Terry Bogard), Cloud (Link), Bayonetta (Dante), Terry (Ken Masters), Sephiroth (Vergil), and Sora (Pit). The characters not represented yet are both Metroid villains, both Earthbound reps, Jigglypuff, Daisy, the Ice Climbers, Pichu, Falco, the Fire Emblem reps, Mr. Game and Watch, Meta Knight, Dark Pit, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Diddy Kong, Lucas, Olimar, ROB, the Animal Crossing reps, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina, Little Mac, Greninja, Palutena, Pac-Man, the Xenoblade reps, Bowser Jr., the Koopalings, Duck Hunt, Inkling, the Belmonts, King K. Rool, Incineroar, Piranha Plant, Joker, Hero, Banjo-Kazooie, Min-Min, Steve, and Kazuya. An interesting tidbit is that there have been Castlevania, Persona, and Tekken reps in Death Battle before (Dracula, Mitsuru, and Jin respectively).
Archie Sonic isn’t technically a smash character he’s a comic book character so if the mega man battle royal doesn’t count as “all in death battle” the Archie Sonic doesn’t count as one
Characters from Smash in Death Battle - Mario Donkey Kong Link/Young Link/Toon Link Samus/Zero Suit Samus Yoshi Kirby Fox Pikachu Luigi Captain Falcon Peach Bowser Zelda Ganondorf Mewtwo Pit Wario Snake Pokémon Trainer - Charizard Sonic King Dedede Lucario Mega Man Ryu Cloud Bayonetta Ken Terry Sephiroth Sora Characters kind of in Smash - Tails Knuckles Shadow Amy Dr Eggman Metal Sonic Other Mega Men Zero Dr Wily Jin Zangief Blanka Dante Chun-Li M Bison Dracula Balrog Akuma Geese Heihachi Mai Shiranui (NOPE) Goku (HA!)
14:20 He Doesn’t Count As A Smash Character It’s the *Archie Sonic* So He’s From The Archie Comics And The Comics is not canon to the games just saying
You counted every version of mega man as a different character and only counted the original as being in smash, which makes sense, but by that same logic Archie Sonic is a completely different character than game Sonic and Archie isn’t in smash so should the fight count towards the total?
