If you grew up watching anime in the early 2000's like i did you probably remember the quality of animation from that time being well.. pretty basic, not saying it doesn't have its own nostalgic charms and place as the building blocks of anime history.
But with its limited movements and repetitive lipflaps it becomes really apparent that we have come a long way since then.
Especially in the last 5 years we have seen a meteoric rise in Quality within the anime industry, with great leaps in animation quality and masterful adaptations of some of our favorite stories.
There are two animation studios that are responsible for raising the level of the entire anime industry.
Those being none other than MAPPA STUDIOS and UFOTABLE.
