Nice video. We also definitely need a goalkeeper. People are talking about playoffs but I'd be happy with top 10. There's a bit more surgery needed on the team, once the loan players go back there's no cover at centre half or holding midfield, Willock will leave, Chair and Clarke-Salter might go on to better things. But we'll see, and he's really done a terrific job so far.
Straightforward analysis, well done. Agree that we now have a plan, however it’s not always executed due, as you point out to the lack of technical ability in some of the squad. A few in and a few out in the summer should stamp Marti’s mark on the team to greater effect.
Well we managed the great escape .... The team which finished the season was not too dissimilar to Ainsworth's team ... The difference in play though was immense .... Sorry Gareth, you just couldn't cut it at this level ... Marti is top draw and i hope he stays with us for many seasons ... Great vid btw
You forgot to mention Chris Willock's contribution. At the start of last season, he was the best player in the Championship. A year later, he was totally crushed under League One Ainsworth and reborn under the Messiah Cifuentes. Together with his friend Chair, they are the best duo in the division. Dykes is hired to score goals, and in his three years he rarely has! The board is to blame for us having no free-scoring strikers. In Marti we trust. 🔵⚪️
Great video, the Ainsworth era was the lowest point in all the years I've followed the Rs. Not just because the football was woeful but because he was trying to create an underdog we're lucky to be here mentality. As an ex-player you'd think he'd be a bit more aware oof the clubs history. I was so pleased to see him sacked so that we could at least reclaim our dignity. Marti has been amazing, onwards and upwards. Thanks for doing this video, great stuff.
In 31 games he has got 45 points. If that was equated to 46 games it would be approx 66/67 points. Looking forward to next year with Marti in charge and a summer transfer window behind him.
Very correct with Dykes "He doesn't score enough" especially with the number 9 on his back he should have double figures and that's 1 reason why we are down the bottom ........ IT'S SIMPLE - QPR DON'T SCORE ENOUGH!!!
