I prefer to think that "The Castle Theme of Proto Man" as you call it, is more of Dark Man's theme, since the castle is actually under the control of Dark Man disguised as Proto Man. The actual theme of Proto Man is his whistle concerto that can be heard at the end of Mega Man 3, and it already sounds a lot more blues-like.

That's true! I have it as Proto Man's Castle Theme in my head because I first heard it as a remix for Proto Man's theme in Mega Man SFR, which plays in one of the Wily Castle stages! Btw highly recommenced that fan-game, super high quality

@@genyakozlov1316 Hell no. The level design is trash, has tons of glitches, some useless weapons, and you have to replay the same levels to fight some annoying bosses. I get the concept, but the execution makes it incredibly bad. I am currently replaying the entire franchise, and it really shows how much of a mess the development of MM3 was.

I think one of the most interesting curiosities is….what ever happened to that lost track from Wily Castle 3 (?) in MegaMan 2 which there wasn’t enough room for so they just repeated the previous track again for that level.

Cocoron has a song that sounds like crash man's theme but in make a good mega man level 2 they had a bouncy castle and crash man was the boss...it comes full circle

Have any of the devs for MM3 ever confirmed that the game is a released beta or is it speculation because the way you worded it in this video makes it sound like that is a fact but I can’t find a source for that claim.

Inafune himself said that Mega Man 3 is among his least favorite games in the franchise, due to the fact that Capcom forced them to release the game before the team thought it was ready, the team wanted to polish it a bit more before it was ready.
