I've had a big spirital awekening and i feel beyond blessed that God has brought me here, he is finally let me know the truth about myself. I feel like i was held captive by satan. Satan kept me blind for many years, I have to say if feels great to take that blind off my eyes and see the truth and now i understand when they say the "truth shall set you free". @ Nathan Genesee idk if Satan persuades every rapist to rape. Although I do believe that some people are just inherently evil. However pain in our reality can seem obsolete when given an eternity of paradise. So in the Bible God allows Satan to screw Jobs life up because job believes in God and finds peace in him. That is why it is important to put your trust in God because without him everything is meaningless and you are vulnerable to Satan. It may seem horrible from our view but like having a horrible sickness you wish to die but after you have recovered you are glad you are alive. So when we are in pain while alive we are rewarded with paradise after we die if we have believed in God and repented. So even though the child was raped and murder the child will have an eternity of paradise with God. This is a victory even though the child was abused.

That is mythological and a characteristic perpetuated by the fairytales of fiction. Satan left heaven, God banished him. Satan wants our souls not because 1 soul = 1 power cell, but because satan hates God and wants to steal as many souls away from God so that God cannot reap what he sowed. The best way to keep souls is by offering a better choice for such beings - by convincing the masses to JOIN him, not serve in BLIND OBEDIENCE to him. Thus, satan wouldn't like to kill us, he'd like to defend us from God and offer a better alternative. - that is, in fact, why he left heaven in the first place. He even convinced 1/3 of the angels to follow his lead and to leave. So, sure, maybe he lied to those Angels because hes great at deceit... or maybe he actually had a point. After all, with how powerful and obvious God must have been to those Angels, they still chose to leave. The Bible calls Satan the god of this world. He owns the kingdoms of earth. Jesus did not deny that when Satan offered him all the kingdoms of the earth on the high mountain.
And from who's perspective have we been told this story? Satans? I think not. I'm pretty sure that if satan wrote his own bible, he'd paint himself as the hero too. Kind of interesting to acknowledge that even God too wouldn't write a book about himself, labeling himself the villain. Because of his rebellion. The divine beings have a higher level of responsibility than human beings, and they do not have salvation. "To much who is given, much is required" is a very true statement. Satan deliberately went against God and was casted out and judged. He was probably used not directly by God, but to show the freedom of choice. Many say God is to blame for allowing evil, however, we all have a choice to act on our impulses or deny them, I believe this is the divine illustration unfolding right before our eyes.

But yes and no, it sounds a bit like a paradox of a statement but I pray my words come together to make sense. So when you think about angels in their function, they have a level of Autonomy, however they are more subjected to a law of function more than humans. Satan as an angel is almost like a glitched, hyper intelligent robot (yet still a divine being). He has a will, however in the book of Job we see that will still submits under the divine plan of God. And I believe for several reasons this is the case: 1) Humans still need to see the image of choice in their lives. Good and Evil still need to function in order for them to make the decision on what they want to follow. 2) Satan's time has not yet come 3) Evil is not so much as used directly by the hand of The Most High, as it is used despite him not being apart of evil. Take for instance the garden, when God told Adam and Eve not to eat the tree, and then Satan came, I believe this was the test and illustration. Not only to show where their hearts were pointed, but to foreshadow that we actually have a choice to fall, and a choice to be redeemed.
But if satan is a deceiver with lues and half truths how can you believe him when he says the kingdom was delivered to him? Just asking because I would not take any of his words as accurate.

I found this good and helpful but I still have an issue i'd like to understand. How can we distinguish evil in the world that is necessary or unnecessary? So the world is not heaven and therefore not perfect and therefore will always have evil and that evil will cause suffering. I'm ok with that part. But surely trying to follow God whilst on earth, however imperfectly, should reduce the amount of evil on earth - if we do good things like love our neighbour, don't lie cheat or steal etc. So if i look at a major world event like a war - how can i understand whether it's happening because people are choosing evil or because some degree of evil is meant to happen? and yes it does matter because it boils down to accountability.

Am still shocked that many believers have not realized that one has to find God 1st then all the things that have been controlled by the devil all along will be given to him. If God owns everything, even though gave all the authority to the devil over them after Adam's falling away, u just have to find God and all these things will be given to you. When I discovered this, I stopped doing everything I was doing (job/work or living my life like others) and started searching/seeking God with all my heart and my soul. This didn't happen until God 1st told me not to follow order while doing his work. (I was able to know the voice of God relying on John Piper's experience hearing the voice of God also). I have discovered that the whole world is against me in all kinds ways even the so called Christians with absolutely no valid reasons. Everybody just hates me and wants to distort my plan however it doesn't affect me anymore because all I have to do is just avoid/ignore them. Even when am doing good deeds for them(why in the world would someone hate another that does good for them? Straight up evilness). The devil's spirit enters each and every person I encounter to fail whatever plan am trying to achieve because deep down, it knows once I find my God, it will never control me since God will give me all of his things. I have done this for years now and have endured the worst of the worst that u can imagine because of no one is wishing me well on my mission whatsoever. God has been with me and also already assured me how I will own each and everything everywhere that belongs to him. I will be fully free to do whatever I feel like anywhere at anytime (whatever my heart will desires). How amazing! I can't imagine that all the people in this world have ignored what the bible says to just try to live normal lives like the rest of the world. (Jeremiah 29.13) There is surety that if we seek him, we must find him however no one wants to do that diligently so I have taken it up. Death is what we all experience and no it’s not in the power of the devil, only God have the power to allow us to die or to live! And no, God is not evil, He allows devil do bad because this world is for him, and if you go to God and have a relationship w Him, He will NOT allow devil to play w/decisive you. Don’t get me wrong, having a relationship w God doesn’t mean “no storms in life”you will have storms in life but w God you will overcome them with no difficulty and you will have peace through the storm. Think of it this way.... A student in a classroom is deadsure he can solve the assignment better than the teacher, he got a lot of back up from hos fellow Peers, so the teacher give him some time to do the assignment on his own, so that everybody can see that he can't do it better than the teacher.... The same with Satan, he now have the chance to prove he can rule this earth better than God, but I don't think he's doing a great job and It's only a mather of time before God will interfere we got a promise from God Who can't Lie (titus 1.2) . Hi David, I don't know what you're going through or what kind of oppression you're experiencing but I would like to say this: Cling to God's word. Ultimately, what the enemy wants to do is drive you away from closeness to God. No matter what circumstances look like or what's the outcome you are praying for and how far it may seem, if you are clinging to God, you are victor. What is more, God is always walking with you. He will bring you through. Stay the course! (Also, if I may say so, I encourage you to nurture close friendships with strong believers. We aren't called to do this on our own.) Praying right now for deliverance for you and sustaining faith. I find that in most of my battles I need both!
I know you should trust God always. Pray to him and read his word daily to stay as close as you can. Sometimes he reveals the truth through prayer or scripture. Maybe you cant always understand his infinite wisdom but just try every day

Lucifer was created a beautiful, angel of Light who was given power and authority over the earth. He rebelled, was cursed, became man's adversary rather than helper and he lost all of heaven but gained the earth....for a time. He retains his power as God has allowed it but only for a time. Now the hearts of all people are tested. Will you serve him or will you serve God? God has not lost one bit of His power or sovereignty in allowing satan to continue to test the hearts of people. Satan took Jesus to a high mountain, and in a moment of time showed him all the kingdoms of the word. He told Jesus it was all his and he gave it to whomsoever he wanted. Satan told Jesus if he would bow to him, it would be his. Jesus told Pilate this is not his kingdom.

'for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit'. And said Jesus, this kingdom is right inside of us!.. Luke 17:20-21 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you". (Keep in mind none of them ever did any of what you said must be done by us). Jesus in Luke 4:43 'but he said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent'. Jesus was sent for more than one reason :) This was fulfilled at the cross of Jesus, as His kingdom indeéd has come to us.. within! Heaven is where the King is ~ and the King is ríght inside of us! Col 1:26,27 'the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. I believe that Every-time I feel guilty about something I did, even to god. That is Satan’s speaking. God will never us guilt against us Satan however use guilt as one of his power. Satan is not an almighty power. Just manipulative friend who makes bad deals coated in tempting words, but you know in the end. Satan is not evil, he’s just…pathetically irresponsible. Everytime I let go of my life, and not focusing on goals and positivity. That’s when I see Satan. Not when I do something I did not mean to.

When guilt appears again, simply replace it with truth (by saying Jesus also paid for this guilt). The Father does not want us to live in guilt, but to live in the freedom His Son has brought us. Look at the cross to see our guilt.. The great exchange!

Satan is ALL evil my friend, all evil. Our focus should be on Jesus and His finished work on the cross, nót Satan. Jesus is our Friend, our eldest Brother, our Redeemer!

Satan retains authority (dominion) over the spiritually unregenerate. That should be clear from reading Acts 26:18 ; Eph. 2:1-3 ; and 2 Tim. 2:26 . We enter this world as "children" of the devil (see John 8:44) and by the grace of God, we can "...be delivered from the power of darkness... into the kingdom of his dear Son." (Col. 1:13). When one expresses faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, it marks the end of Satan's authority and power over that regenerated believer.
+uriel mesenja..Pastors are no better than anyone else. There is one thing God needs to correct..Your idol worship! We are Here to learn to be Humble to God..not to people! I don't know why Satan would bother you..it sounds like he's got you in his pocket. God Corrects people too..and it does not feel so good..but HIS Correction is worth it. Jesus is the Only One I Listen to..I pay no attention to the opinions of people..especially pastors who think they have the Right to Speak in Jesus Place..with his own opinions.

God Promises to Deliver me from evil and He Does and He Will. I have No fear of any authority of Satan. He has None! As long as I Seek Jesus..he can do nothing to me. What about..God Delivers me from evil do you not understand?

Hebrews 2:14,15 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Before the cross the name Satan was a noun. After the cross it became a doing word, a verb.
If Batman kills the Joker, the show is over, the same reason that God doesn't kill Satan. Pastors know they are all myths but still use them to fool weak, mindless sheep.

Now it's just starting to get funny to me.. We like to think of our self equal to joab in every way... We like to think that we are protect like job is.. We like to think that not a single finger will be lead on us, even though people who God favord actually been slapped, spit in the face, thrown out of their home and church's, tortured day and night mercilessly.. And yet we had not gone thought not single one of these and yet we think we are favored... Almost every follower of God in the Bible something bad happened to them.. And then we say that the devil is the ruler of the world... How can you make sure that he has not won over you.. REMEMBER this is an enemy of God who found not 1 or 2 but 3 weaknesses in God to tempt him with.... We are all ruled by the devil if he could just easily hand us out like that... I'm tired I watched the corner street.. I watched debates BTW Muslims and Christians.. I watched Christian debate other believers And yet not obe of them and answered a question starting with the verse in the Bible its all from their logic and reasoning.. Tell me where does Jesus claims that he is God Tell me why do preacher's , pastors, not refer to to the bible first when they are about to answer someone. Tell me has the Bible been corrupted Tell me Does God have weakness Tell me when Mary gave birth to God who was it son of God or Holy ghost or Father. Tell me why does Jesus not correct people when they make claims of him or at least say in the Bible. Speaking of the Bible why did he allow it to be written and preserved by humans when It was the word of God. Why did he not write it himself and prevented difference and disagreements BTW his people does he not value every soul.. (some people (almost all) will perish in hell for misunderstanding, misinterpreting, mislead by this..
+uriel mesenja.. I have certainly been hurt by Satan too. I never said he could not hurt a person. But..the Glory of God..He can Bring Good out of evil. Jesus Came to Save us from our sins..of which there are consequences. It sounds to me like you think Satan hurts people when they have done nothing to bring it on themselves. Believe me if you are being hurt by Satan..it is because you are bringing it on yourself. That is when you need to Humble yourself and let Jesus Help you know where to repent. That is what people don't want to do..Humble themselves.. But there is no other way. Humble yourself to God..or suffer. Job had to Humble himself too. That is when he came Face to Face with God. You just want to blame Satan for something you need to repent of.
Many of the holiest men alive who are far closer to God than you can imagine suffer greatly in war against Lucifer.You are the one that needs to humble yourself.
