More like "no replacement for newer tech" - the big-block V8 is the later Gavril Barstow engine which some hot rodder swapped into the Burnside, not a motor that the car was originally sold with.
Not really you can see the strain it gets when it just gets to third gear at full boost the amount of torque the engine is producing is too much for far to much time so the engine just goes boom, in first gear and second its kinda fixed because of the wheelspin since engine is not producing enough load to break it but as soon as it gets into 3rd it just goes BOOM LMAO
the mid 50's chevy's had a 3 in the tree hydromatic transmission. i had a '54 belair & it was awesome to drive. in BeamNG if you swap it to the 423ci, the light rear end make it undriveable
That first one with a three speed automatic has me confused. I thought the only auto's available at the time were simple two speeds with reverse. Does Beam not have those so your running a different trans?
See when I was messing around with this putting the race/ high flow let the 318 hold for 10psi for like 10 mins drifting could be the lack of load tho cuz it was wheel spin the whole time
