Was guessing 12kg, though would suggest getting some "pre used" edge nippers, and putting a long handle on them, with a spring to close it, and mount to a wall with the one handle, so it can act as a holder for the copper, and the spring keeps it closed on the end.
Думаю, простой грейферный захват, изготовленный из нескольких кусков металла и трех - четырех болтов, и закрепленный на стене, решит проблему удерживания статора на весу
Not a bad guess only 2.7kg off the mark......The other 5 motors i did the next day bought the overall total to 21kg so roughly 7kg per 5 of those motors.
My turn... get a fancy hydraulic press and air chisel .😅 Nah.. man😂 I agree with you. whatever gets the job done is good enough, the plyers and the hammer seem to work pretty good👍🏻
I sprayed all the motors 1st before i started hitting to help allow the WD40 to hopefully get through....I used my WD40 sparingly on that lot coz they were almost empty to start but mrs has bought me 2 more cans so the next lot of motors that i have waiting ill be a bit generous with the spray.
Yep i think it helped too......Iv got another bunch of motors prepped n ready to go. These motors had pre cast ally casings around them which i removed and so they are now ready for the WD40 and the hammer.
Kilos or Pounds? Guess it doesn't coz you saw the result at the end which was pretty good and if you add the copper i removed from the other 5 motors the next day i ended up with a total of 21kg.
Hey mate, What grade are they giving you for winding copper at the scrap yard? My usual yard classes it as "domestic copper" only paying around $8 Per kg.
Hi mate, well if i leave all the shit on the windings ill also get domestic copper for it but il be clean all mine up so its just the copper and no tape and string and that will get me No2 price for it.
@@danthescrapper815 I've cashed in my hoarded stockpile aka copper tube & wire savings account over the last few months. So much room for activities. All My cream material has been weighed & ive been payed. Onto sorting my transformers, stainless, alu copper coil stack is cleaned stacked & ready to cash in. Tandem cage trailer be about full worth of value. Used a few grinding discs but gotta spend some money to earn money. Its just the Nature of the beast. And battery grinder/ reciprocating slicer is safe fast an easy. Much less risk than the big ol large grinder. aka the oversize cut off wheel of death. I've got plenty of bloody scars from mishaps wielding one of them. They command respect. When it all goes wrong using those big monsters it's gunna leave a scar or take a chunky bit of meat. Scrapping is dangerous play safe peeps. Use a bigger hammer than req wear gloves and eye protection.
