Our local McDonalds ice cream machines are always broke. $70 for all that food was a bargain. I will say Benji and Judy are such patient parents. The girls are BLESSED!

I love those machines. I can’t really see the menu behind the counter and tend to panic when there’s a long behind. Like I feel like I have to rush my order. And I never order the happy meal as a kid but love ordering it now.

Jeez, that Mcdonalds is dead. Ours is always super busy, we still have a play area too. Feel bad the older kids couldnt get happy meals. Although the toys aren't as good as the 80s and 90s I still like getting them sometimes because they'll often have Disney collectibles.

I don't go to McDonald's too often, but when I do, I usually get a Happy Meal. :D (even in my 30s) I like the smaller portions rather than the giant meals.

Our McDonalds in New York has all the self serve stuff but its still open to see the workers doing the food and pick up section. So they aren't closet like those. WAIT there's always issues with McD's ice cream machines around the world, I hear it from so many different places its crazy.

McDonald’s isn’t the same anymore with the prices. Even when we have the McDonald’s app, it only helps so much. Even if you can gather enough points but you would have to constantly go. It’s rare that Taco Bell in my area is cheaper than McDonald’s. I was shocked.

Fun family dinner at McDonalds! How nostalgic! I agree with Benji if I read him right on not liking the new way to order. I want to give my order to a person who I can personalize my order with and not the stupid machine that does not get it! When I turned 18 years old, my then boyfriend wanted to take me to a fancy restaurant , but I insisted on having McDonalds! Hahaha!

haha i like using the app because i usually order and pay on the app ahead of time, and you can choose to either pick up the order in the drive thru or at the counter. also I think you'd like the spicy deluxe mccrispy! so much better than the mcchicken they had years ago. i think the popularity of chik-fil-a forced other fast food chains to step up their chicken sandwiches, starting with popeyes lol.

i don't know about the US but the MaDonald apps i have from Asia, Australia and UK (yes i have multiple McDonalds apps due to my travels) you can collect points and use the points towards a free burger or drinks. Its especially helpful when i'm at the airport and i don't want to spend on airport prices so that's when i cash in my points on the app. edit: i collected some of those squishmellows when i was in Asia the last time i was there ! they're now sitting on my workdesk as cute little stress balls 😆 not sure if there is a QR code on the package but on the ones i got you scan the QR code and out comes a playlist of songs for that squishmellow

McDonalds has a video that shows the grease for the fries is made with old fashioned lard so when it gets cold that lard seizes up and just makes it taste thick, lol. But when those joints are hot, they are sooooo delish.

Unfortunately, you have to watch McDonald’s like a hawk. I only go through the drive-through and use the mobile order to app to get the deals. I’m usually ordering quite a bit of food so when I come out of the drive-through, I always have to pull over and double check that I have everything Nine times out of 10. I’m missing fries or a sandwich.

Wow. With all these years of vlogging you decided to make a dedicated video about McDonald's! It's so fascinating how Americans prove time after time that they are living in their own bubble or THEY create their own bubble to do anything they want regardless of what happening around them and because of them. I salute the few polite comments but I can't. Eat and buy from these companies as much as you can but at least don't post a video about it. Boycotting is a statement, it is an objection of geno~cide. I dont mind the self serve machines! The location I go to by my moms house, theres like a few self serves and then the regular counter with people, especially if you have cash or just want to order it with a person. But that location was always busy, lots of people sitting down eating, lots of staffs (young teenagers as well) but they would be cleaning the floor, the tables, etc. Drive thru was popular. I think it just depends on time of day, the day, and location wise. But the mcdonalds ive seen here in ontario canada, always has the self serve pop station with condiments, napkins etc! also i think judy was just ordering individual items, there is a button that says "make it a meal" and ask you what size drink/fries. I don't eat mcdonalds often, but from what I remember, I do remember those buttons :) as per the ice cream machine, There is a video where you can watch about it. Basically mcdonalds ice cream machine brand is paired with this company, and it "breaks down" often, so then they will need to call the company to come in and fix the machine, and because this happens often, that company that fixes it makes a lot of money for constantly repairing it. Also I did hear the machines does a cleaning cycle, but i don't think it takes that long!

Mcdonalds in Philippines, the burgers are very flat and doesn't have that shiny bun 😭 But I recommend to buy their current happy meal because they have Mcdo crew cap w/ mic, mini happy meal set, etc. So cool to use for role play time ❤

The Ice cream Machine is probably really getting serviced. It actually takes a couple hours because they’re dealing with a mess to take out the old left over ice cream. Then they have to run it to self clean or something. Then the refill with more ice cream takes awhile to be ready and serve. 😂 my mom was a McDonald’s DM. She’d say a lot of people don’t understand or can comprehend how complicated the ice cream machine is. 😂

We can still see the people working at the back in most McDonald's in Malaysia. If the ice cream machines are not working here, they actually have to put "out of stock" for the ice cream so people can't add it to their order on the machines.

Actually, McDonald's would be inline with prices proportioned since 1938 if you just order a large drink and a hamburger, but that is it. If you do that, you can get it for pretty cheap. The kicker comes in with the fries, which throws the whole budget for a loop.
