Hi Fam! This video provides a detailed analysis of the salaries of ESL Teachers in South Korea, and some of the expenditures we have per month. Thanks for watching and keep well ❤️ Music: Das Hotel by Sugoi Licensed by Epidemic Sound
NB: ESL Teachers in Korea earn less than those in China and the UAE because we have less resposibilities and ONLY focus on listening and speaking. We cannot for example be homeroom teachers, design tests or prepare reports. We also dont focus on teaching the skills of reading and writing as our Korean CoTeachers are in charge of that. We do not interact with parents or participate in extramural activities. Plus, our accommodation is fully sponsored
Thank you so much, i tried Korean Horizons, but they have not responded since i submitted my CV. Ill try Korvia maybe in the next 2 weeks if i haven't received any response from Korean Horizons🙏
This is insightful and informative 🤝 thank you so much. Tell me more, which universities they recommended in SK? I heard about in Taiwan that there's some other universities that are not recommended 😏
As far as I know, as long as your uni degree can be verified by SAQA then you are good to go. There was a time where Korean agencies were skeptical about UNISA qualifications because of some scams, but that seems to have died down now ❤
Great video! Your breakdown of ESL teacher earnings and expenses in South Korea was informative and eye-opening. It's essential to have transparency about these aspects, and you provided valuable insights. Keep up the fantastic work in helping others understand the financial aspects of teaching English in South Korea!
Glad you enjoyed it! Indeed, I think it would be an injustice for me to not mention finances and the realities of teaching abroad after encouraging people to apply 😅 Thanks so much for watching.
Informative video sisi👌🤗😍😍😍. I watched alot of videos where people move from SK to China, but I think it best to start in SK and move to China at a later stage when you have experience. I think SK now need to increase their salaries🤣🤣🤣 or else they will lose experienced teachers like you Ruth👌😍😍
I really appreciate your feedback and support sis! ❤️ When I first got to Korea I thought I was earning a lot, then I saw the China and UAE salaries and I just wanted to cry 🤣🤣🤣
@@zizojikizinto You morethan welcome sisi🤗😍😍❤. People are earning a lot of money in China dear, but don't let that discourage you because you doing wonderful job and I'm really sorry dear about your short hair story😰. Try to ignore all the negativity comments😘🥰🥰
ESL means 'English as a Second Language'. It's the field of teaching English in countries where English is not the medium of instruction in schools. EPIK is the English Program in Korean, the organization that hires foreign teachers to teach English as a second language in Korea
