How Much Do You Love Me | Ellis Remix Written by Jack Stratton and Jacob Jeffries Ellis - remix & production Jacob Jeffries - vocals Vulfmon - video edit, color & rhodes Scott Lehman - cinematography
Vulfmon's East LA cult with the spiritual quest of learning to dance in professional music videos has obviously been very successful as evidenced by this incredible, professional music video. I'm a believer.
The original is a masterpiece of music and lyrics executed to perfection. Legend has it James Jamerson once typed with one finger the following musing: "This remix exists solely to remind us we've all danced with that much flagrant cringe when no one is watching."
Legend has it, Vulfmon spent 7mo choreographing this and then shot this whole thing in ONE SHOT, then they cut it up after the fact to make it seem more believable 😯
This gave me a premonition, that one day in the future, on their quest to explore the entirety of the funk universe, Vulfpeck must enter their future funk phase, where they play daft punk style EDM funk 🤩😱. Im here for it.
I like how this comes off like a remix of some old standard but the original tune isn’t even a year old An unexpected crossover of my musical interests but a welcome one
my guess is it's to encourage people to buy the bandcamp release considering they give more money to the artists when compared to streaming services. knowing jack's history and his business shenanigans, i wouldn't be surprised if this is to be true
The people demand-- Once again Vulf sign, seal, etc. On time. Nei ther snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night. It's here: Tight, right & outta sight.
"Hey Jacob, someone made a remix of our song! How about we goof off on this giant white sheet and make it into a clip?" "But I can't dance..." "And I can't party! I'll show you, we'll be allright. See you in ten minutes!"
