How you know you're a success in music: when you can gather big names from previous generations to come play on your album while you sit there and play the palm-on-knee and the baby rattle.
Vulfmon isn’t the hero we deserve, he’s the hero we need. A concept of short, disaggregated collaborations that highlight individual talents while maintaining the artistic vision and ingenuity of the unifying force, mixed with eccentric visual content and musically resilient tracks is exactly the kind of music that speaks to people today. Thanks for being an absolute unit. 🤙🏻
If he filmed everything in reverse, and then reversed it back to make it look forward, why is everything in the background going forward instead of reverse?
@@HisHowliness this is just the dedication that jack puts into his music. he staged everyone on that street to move backwards so he could record the song backwards
Jacob Jeffries in the first song on here is absolutely incredible. So much going on. It's like the lyrical performance is OTT (he's even laughing in places and they're both smiling at how ridiculous it is) but it just fits perfectly and it's exactly what it needs. Like he's giving it 11/10 effort and it just works so well. And there's no explanation as to why there's a towel on his head 😂. Absolutely killer opening to an album that is a total work of art.
I think the long hair is meant to be a costume, emulating the long hair of a woman. Putting a hand towel over your head has become short hand for "I'm playing a woman now" on Tik Tok. I love that song because it so plainly seems like something they made up on the spot, while comiserating about Jewish mothers and the like. It's a great counter point to the serious and sensitive parts of the album.
I was in the studio today finishing up recording my second single in Camden Studios here in Ireland and the sound engineer casually goes “you know the band vulfpeck” I said “hell yeah” he goes “They’re rehearsing upstairs”
It's got funk, soul, goofy behavior, basics, and brilliant composition. Thank you for your original sound and ideas. Keep thinking outside of the boxes Vulf

Jack's ability to keep the productions coming while all of the other members of the Peck are solo careering on their own for the time being is incredible.
I really wish I could sit down with Jack and pick his brain about his musical influences. From the intro the video, which we hear in a bunch of Vulf's song, to the first song of this album, there is so much old school gospel that just oozes out of their music.
Hi, If you have not watched it, you might be interested in the State of the Vulf interviews by Allegra Rosenberg. She also did really deep and knowledgeable interviews of other members of the Vulfverse. The name is StopItsGingerTime.
HIGHLIGHTS: 00:03 "How Much Do You Love Me" ~ The Ultimate Babooshka/Aretha mash-up? 06:33 "Alone Again, Naturally" ~ Stoic, moving, and featuring, arguably, the greatest stolen flute solo for 2022. Likely in my top two favourite tracks on this record. 13:23 "Take Me To A Higher Place" ~ Literally filmed at higher altitudes, this behind-the-scenes Rock-U-Mentry reveals the inner workings of dancing/film-clip production, revealing Vulfmon's workhorse methodology. [spoiler alert] Legend has it, this cult laid the groundwork for what is known in modern parlance as TikTok. 20:25 "Let's Go! Let's Go!" ~ Some of the finest racquet-as-instrument-and-mic combo work you'll see on the Socials. This should feature on the WTA circuit shortly. 29:47 "Rutgers" ~ Bringing the melodic classroom full circle, this track features the final coursework material for the sitting test [It will be open book]. Yes, cash is king and money talks. But, if you've done your homework, you shouldn't fear bullish markets. Your handclapping WILL be graded.
That is one beautiful/depressing song by the Irish chap. I bawled like a baby; twice. Gorgeous singer and the flute, too. I appreciate that you tried to inject a small humor to that segment, but it was pretty dense with bitter sweetness (heavy on the bitter) I'm impressed, but not surprised. Very enjoyable, thanks! Rest in Peace Biz...
Vulfmon trained for years in an ancient monastery in order to be able to channel the amount of raw creative genius necessary for the composition of this album.
This tells me just how much you love me. Now I get to boogie, man. No wife no kids at home thanks to school which means I'm home alone again, naturally. This really takes me to a higher place and I can never can say goodbye to this album. I mean lets go, lets go folks! All that Bach Pedal? Here we go Jack, here we go. Even people that went to Rutgers can appreciate this!!! Contrapunctus I.
god, it's the little things with jack; the fact that he recorded the entire lets go lets go video at like a slower tempo so he could speed it up is SOO funny
Yes, I was just about to post that also. Beautiful cover and would be great to see it credited. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fXa2w0LtXxE.html&feature=emb_logo&ab_channel=Polydor1000
I gotta ask, it's been a while since vulfpeck released an album as is. Is the band splitting into separate projects? I dig the stuff you've been putting out, this album, the fearless flyers, Theo Katzman solo stuff, but I do miss the old vulfpeck in a way, Let's go Let's go is great! Is there still future for the old vulfpeck core ?
Well this is fabulous. I watched all of this backwards and the hidden messages/harmonies/melodies makes a complete album of its own (who would have thought). The order the songs were previoulsy released makes it all into a Mememto-like experience, and for all of us with perfect pitch and who know morse code there is no end to the inside jokes/info ;) Thanks!
haha you had to throw out there that you have perfect pitch. Couldn't have lived another day without knowing that. Thank you for saving my life, BITCH!
At first I thought this album would just be Jack playing his games and having a fun time, but once again he shows us how unpredictable he can be. He's surrounded by people whose talent shines over the guy who's supposed to be the main focus of the album, and it works because that's just how Jack works - putting all of these great artists over and having a great time even being on the background, just for the love of music. And when he puts himself on the spotlight, it's unexpectedly... tender. This beautiful universe of Vulf encapsulates how beautiful the music can be. This makes me really happy. Thank you, Jack Stratton!
Monica Martin for the WIN! This song was my exact mood. So perfect. I gotta ask tho, was she supposed to do the flute solo or was that a bit of comedy? Brilliant either way.
I'm back again for more. What beauty. To see musicians not only baing AMAZINGLY SUPREMELY talented, but they are having fun. They are being silly. They are happy. There is love captured here in different ways. It's really truly beautiful. Cheers.
