Tommy is currently working on 4 cars, The black GTR, silver GTR, RB Silvia and the black K-swap Miata. He's swapping stuff from the GTRs to the Silvia and GTR to GTR, and parting out the totaled GTR at the same time. For the last 3-4 weeks he was trying to get parts in for the black GTR to get it ready for Rob's challenge, while working on 3 other cars at the same time and while moving shops. He also doesn't do a half-ass job on anything and does stuff right the first time, unlike Rudnick (no hate on him). And how many cars is Jimmy working on? One. So stop giving Tommy shit about the Silvia build and go fuck yourself pussy, go build a clean RB26 Silvia and then come back and talk smack.

In my opinion this is one of the cleanest engine swap ever, purely because of all the custom fabrication, and it's not something that was built by a massively known shop. GG man you killed it.
Fake beef? Man get outta here, he and his friend made all the pipe work, he went through every single step and did most of the work on his own or with 'non trained' engineers. In my opinion if it came down to pure build Jimmy would win, however if it came down to pure speed/power jimmy would smack him left right and centre with the RB26

I knew how to “weld” before the class, but making use of my hs time with the FREE resources (100000X better than my shitty harbor freight mig @ home) is dumb for me not to 😂 it’s honestly just hella fun. Anybody know anywhere with a $50,000 welding robotic arm just lying around to be messed with? Oh shit, that’s right, I’m a student who happens to be blessed enough to get to fuck around with one, some days just cuz I can 🤷🏼♂️ not even really tryn build shit but just to learn. I've seen a few 1320 videos of big turbo 300ZX's pulling hard on modded GTR's and boosted LSX's. Seems like a good engine if you have the time and $$$ because its always nice to claim the win while keeping the factory engine.

Said the same on tommy video but i wish the deadline wasnt so tight for you guys because i think it wouldve been a close competition. But all in all tommy chose the more beat up car and chose to drop out so either way congrats man. The detail you put into that z is crazy keep it up man

Great time management, and DIY measures throughout. It's been a blast seeing this through to completion. 2 questions I have for you. 1. What is the final weight on the Sr swapped z. 2. Which do you feel has a better weight bias between the Sr and ls swapped z32? I also have that back panel you broke in your 2+2. Among many other z32 parts. And I have a 2+0 chassis I need to get an engine in. Leaning to ls
I hope to see this going up against Tommy's build when he is done. Sure the build off didn't work out -- but at the end of the day these are two awesome swaps, with an incredible attention to detail.
This is a cool build! I wanted to go rb25 on a z32 but price is ridiculous and for me this is a better option since I’m only looking build something to drive in the canyons thanks for the info!!
Im not a fan of the swap. But it looks right. I agree with it being nimble, especially with a slicktop z32. Get a 2+0 non turbo. Get good used stock tt turbos or upgrades. Upgraded wrist pins, Bolt ons, IC delete (upipes tb to turbos), yellowtop subaru injectors, tune. And theres an na-tt 400+ hp Z32. Ive sold 2 of these and theyre still going. Less than 6000 including the chassis.

Tommy is a flog. He's too worried about becoming a big youtuber and taking money off anyone that will give it to him. Jimmy may have had help, most people do, but he did majority of the work himself, tried to stick to the deadline and in my opinion he killed it.
