Thank you for the feedback! DTF is a fantastic alternative for smaller volume digital prints. The biggest threshold to DTG is the cost but with embroidery, laser and DTF, you can certainly cover a lot and wouldn't be missing out on much from not having DTG!

Truly an exceptional video. Your presentation, content, editing, chapter index, and detail are excellent. Very nice voice, cadence, and pacing. You put a lot of time and effort into this video and you definitely reaped the rewards. I appreciated your personal experience about how frustrating the initial work can be and why testing and testing and testing are so important. Also, this is why having quality equipment, quality setup, and quality vendors are important when you are getting set up because you want to be troubleshooting the print job and not troubleshooting your bad business decisions that boxed you into a corner. The only suggestion I have is to include you company's website in the video. You may pick up some customers who want to support you. Thank you for the excellent video!

When DTG first came out, I was going to invest , but upon careful análisis of the cost per shirt and in talking about time invested per shirt , I just couldn't get it . We silk screen 60-144 shirts per hour on a manual press. At 10-15 minutes per shirt on DTG . You can't really compare .
@LovesBranding

I agree. DTG can be great for one--offs or full color prints but screen printing for production is definitely superior!

@gc2276
@gc2276 7 дней назад
@@CITYMUSICGLOBAL You have to count pretreating and heat pressing all together also how big print it is. On top of that you cant print on blends or poly shirts. Dtf also can bi applied on cardboard and wood without pretreatment. Curing time of DTF is mostly half time of DTG and often even 4 times faster depend on material. So DTG is not good option specially when you calculate in cost of supplies and maintenance.

@LovesBranding
@LovesBranding 10 месяцев назад
@@markherring3513 I'm not sure if its being completely discontinued. To be honest, I think the 2100 will still be around just because of the cost difference. With the 2270, you're paying a premium for faster prints and I assume lower ink costs. It will be interesting to see what Epson plans on doing with the 2100.

Hi! I show it mostly in other videos. I haven't made a specific video just for the heat press yet but to sum it up: I usually either keep the temp at 320 for DTG or 290 for transfers and just adjust the times depending on the project.

I love it so I can keep the top of the printer clear which gives me access to inside without having to move everything. I see a lot of people put their laptops on there but I just like it out of the way and its a perfect height for me to use while standing in front of the printer. This is the piece that holds the laptop: amzn.to/3IOgwj1 This is the stand that attaches to the table: amzn.to/42eqyRd I use a smaller 13" laptop and it works wonderfully, but larger laptops might not sit as well on the stand.

Hi, thanks for the feedback! The table I got from Home Depot. It is a little pricey but is very sturdy. The height is adjustable so you can set it a comfortable height to work on. It also has an option for drawers. The one I have my printer on is the 52" wide option with 2 drawers. Hi! I use Epson ink so I haven't had to change the ICC profiles. I would suggest reaching out to your supplier of dupont ink. Epson has been cracking down on 3rd party inks including a recent lawsuit so please be careful when considering different options. If the ink supplier cannot help, I would be careful using them.

If done correctly on high quality cotton is it as durable as screening printing and can you print and sell higher quality t shirts with this printer as in a t shirt that sells for 50 dollars
@LovesBranding
@LovesBranding Год назад
Sales is usually the hardest part with DTG because people are so used to cheap screen printed shirts. If you're able to put out high quality prints with amazing designs, you can absolutely sell these shirts for $30+!

how much do think it cost to be fixed , i have one and the color doesnt seem to be coming out right for the t shirts
@LovesBranding
@LovesBranding Год назад
I believe Epson has a one-time fix all option where they can send out a text and repair whatever is wrong with the machine but it costs quite a lot. I would recommend reaching out to them directly for exact pricing. If you do a nozzle check and all lines are printing without gaps, the printer may be working fine, you would probably just want to make color adjustments in the artwork.

Thanks for watching! I got the work bench for my table and heat presses at Home Depot. They are cheaper than the one sold by Epson and are the exact perfect width for the printer. They also have with and without drawers which I use to put my DTF films in. Super sturdy with an adjustable height and come with nice caster wheels so its easy to move the printer around. If you have a home depot near by, sometimes they have it on display and you can get it discounted www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-52-in-W-x-24-in-D-Steel-2-Drawer-Adjustable-Height-Solid-Wood-Top-Workbench-Table-in-White-HOLT5202BJ2/311742117

Hello, interesting video, I have a question: can we use DTF ink to make prints only in DTF on the F2100? or is it obligatory to use DTG ink?
@LovesBranding

It is recommended to use the OEM ink in the F2100. I have seen people use aftermarket or dtf ink and have issues with clogs. It may work but you are risking clogs in the print head as well as the lines

So typically what would you need to sell a full color shirt to make a profit with this machine? I know the tee is about $5 what about the ink cost per shirt
@LovesBranding
@LovesBranding Год назад
It depends on a lot but for me I was typically selling them from $15-25. Larger full front or prints on both sides will greatly increase your ink cost. If you are doing one-off pieces, I've seen people be able to sell shirts for $30-50. A bit part of it is finding your niche and market and seeing what they are willing to pay.

hello, starting on my dtg journey and was wondering if its worth it to get a tucloc 16x20 over the epsom with grip tape?
@LovesBranding
@LovesBranding Год назад
If I were to buy again, I would probably have gotten the 16x20 Epson platen with grip tape. I don't find myself using the hoodie risers as much as I thought I would. And the tucking feature is nice but with the grip tape, I don't even really use the hoop to keep the shirt in place which saves me the same amount of time. However, I do love the 16x20 tucloc for doing any type of dtf films because the tape sticks to the plexiglass far better than it does my regular platen with grip tape. In all honesty, I don't print over 14x16 as much as I thought I would either. It will definitely get you in with some street brands and other niches that like that oversized print but there's tons of work out there that can be done with 14x16 prints. Best of luck!

If you are good mechanically and are comfortable working on machines, it MIGHT be. BUT I would honestly say no because there are so many small electronics and pieces that it would be easy to mess it up. Having Epson out to repair is roughly $3k+.
