Hey Daniel, Everyone thinks you make a killing do mounts. After you pay for everything you need, your time, you're not making all that much. They also don't know how much time goes into mounting a deer mount. That's the reason some people don't get their mounts till the next deer season or a little longer. I think the deer I have seen you do are so life like. If you were to take one of your mounts and place it the right way outside, take a picture of it. You would swear it was a live deer. Love your work, channel and videos. Take care and be safe.

Yep people don't understand just how much it costs for taxidermy. Even my doing European Mounts full time I have a lot of cost on my part as well. Great video thank for doing what you do

I use the 50lb cattleman fine salt from tractor supply. I used the clorox 40lb bags from lowe's. But for around the same price you get 10 more lbs. a bag from tractor supply. Been working my garden today & planted a new satsuma tree... got a sunburn as a bonus😂 Hope your garden harvest is bountiful. Thanks Daniel

I use brown, green and white Spiderwire from tackle shops to sew my capes and habitat foliage.We bass fish and it doesn't stretch. Brown and green I found at freshwater tackle shops and white I bought in the keys. I use a short handled hammer and wrap the line around the handle to pull it tight.

I got a big question I have mounted two deer. I am planning on mounting another main problem I have is I can’t seem to buy the right size form when I go to Measure it on the neck always tends to be too big when I measure around the spots where they say to, and since it up as tight as I can, and buy that form size, it tends to be too big after I go to put it on the from?

I can do snake taxidermy like lots and I sell snake taxidermy and I keep it simple I sell for 50 to 10 bucks for a snake

My taxidermist charge's 475 dollars/ mount. I'll just continue to have her do my deer

Don't cost a thing the problem is getting them to stand still long enough.
