Umm...you forgot the turbo inlet, outlet, lower charge pipe, and cold air intake. Thats FULL bolt on. And necessary to maximize all components (not to mention keep you safe since all those are also cheap plastic).
about the boost leak bro. the stock diverter valve is hella weak espcially since youre tuned now and requiring it to do more work, thats potentially where your small leak could be coming from. there is an upgrade option for that too
For an N54 335i car you don't Need an exhaust. If you do the work yourself and already own tools and jack stands or at least front wheel ramps you can do them for around $1500. Or even less depending on what you buy where and how much power you want. But for 400hp and around 425TQ that's totally doable.
Great video as always!! Just an FYI, I just tuned my 2013 N55 135i with MHD stage 1+ about three weeks ago. I spoke with MHD regarding the DME bench flash (unlock), and they stated that it is no longer needed! I was able to just purchase the flasher module/maps, and flash with an ODB II OTG cable. Also, for those who have PPK, and are wondering if you'll ever be able to flash back to that from any of the MHD maps, they stated that your back-up will retain your PPK tune, so just make sure to back-up before flashing.
I just learned about how you don’t need the dme unlock anymore I wish they did that awhile ago hahah costed me some money lol and all my files are backed up on mhd
@@drivenbyricky4651 some of them have the carb exempt sticker so it'll be fine and then you have the ppl that say "its gonna suck in all that hot air and not be good for the car" blah blah blah but you have to realize that it gets cold going thru the intercooler so it's worth it
Hey ricky, whats the difference with jb4 and mhd, can you run them together? Like mhd for e85 and burbles and then jb4 for off the shelf map? How does all that work im so confused
@@drivenbyricky4651 thanks for insight, I think its just turbo envy just talking 😁. I hope to pay this one off and teach myself as much as possible about this platform before the MIGHTY M purchase. Thanks again for reply 👑✌
Dude..you can't slap a tune on a 350/370z and expect it to make a ridiculous amount of power...same goes for any n/a car. If you take any turbo car, the engine is also already prepped to a certain extent to handle that boosted power more easily. It's not unheard of to take an already turbo car and make 100hp or more with a tune. With that said, the car is coming along nicely.
@@drivenbyricky4651 Yes, I agree. You can boost a 350z for more power. The reason for my previous post was because you said it was very difficult to get power with a 350z and a tune. You can't just get a tune by itself and make massive power unless you add boost. When you tune a naturally aspirated car, you will be lucky to get an additional 30whp out of it.
Whats the difference Ricky I have the 535i with N54? Are u saying they if I do the same things u juss talked about i ill have 500 house instead of 400?
ItsSuperRedize have you tried a .018-.022 gap? Go for .18 if nothing else works, if it still doesn’t there might be a different problem. I have new coils with one step colder now, no misfires at all
MHD allows you to tune without unlocking now. mhd unlocks the dme for you now ! the flash wil take alot longer tho but its worth irather than paying someone to remove your manifold and gettign to the dme and risk damaging it!
Jb4 sucks why do jb4 when u can do straight mhd custom tune i have a FULLY FBO car and I've never wanted jb4 and my custom tune from jsrtuned was 250 on discount 300 full price
