@@Muslim_Student well it's one of the most versatile fields ever! EE allows you to go into the industry or do research with relative ease when compared with other fields. EE gives you a LOT of options.
@bigbao9843 I find ee to be a degree that is tough but has alor of options for change and selection later on or continuation of more electrical related sub fields. It just I'm not interested in it, but I have to do it, I wanted to do medicine but now it seems impossible o transition to med. Electrical is very hard but very reliable and useful, I wish I was passionate about electrical like I was about medicine and biology and psychology. My father is and electrical engineer he's had a great influence and pushing of me becoming electrical. My older sister is just about to graduate with a degree in electrical, and my brother is in his third year in electrical. I'm not the brightest guy when it comes to calculus and physics and I think I would be better suited for medicine but that would require me to a. Leave my uni, and major wasting all the money and time spent so far, b, start studying for exams to enter medicine for a year, then join a medical university, if I pass. Then study for 6 to 12 years. If I study psychology I will waste my time as it's a great subject but not so usefull to feed mouths and get paid, job opportunities are limited and easily replaceable Cs is another good major but I don't have an interest in it which would make it same as electrical. I have an option to do electrical, then after the bs go into medical using the electrical degree. Wouldn't it be great if I was just passionate in electrical like my peers and father. Guess I just got to say Alhamdulliah, (praise be to God) for giving me an opportunity to pursue higher education. It's not the worst situation in the world, but definitely hard to force myself to do a major that is hard even for people who like it.

I think it depends on what you wanna do in your career. For example, if you wanna work as a research assistant and/or teaching assistant, then usually an MS is enough. Whilst a PhD is necessary if you'd like to work as a professor or doctoral researcher.
