"Premeds are so secretive and it pisses me off" Haha that was hilarious lol. I love it. My school doesn't have a premed, but I heard about this from others.
YOU'RE THE BEST THANK YOU FOR THIS! you're absolutely right about premeds being so secretive - its great that you're putting this out there and helping us those of us who havent gone through the process yet/don't know anyone who has been through it to ask them
Dude, thanks so much for making the video. I didn't have any idea how much it costs, but at least we can start saving now. Thanks again and looking forward to the next ones. Congrats on almost 400 subscribers!
Damn this is so complicated... I applied to medical school in Canada this year, I only applied to 2 schools, I payed 100$/school to have my filed reviewed, then payed 50$ for the MMI interview and got in. So I spent 250CAD in total. My tuition will be less than 5000$/y for 4 years.
Hi Wendy, Fee Assistance is an awesome program. If you think you're a candidate for it, I'd apply as soon as possible. The FAP will cover AAMC test prep materials for the MCAT, partially subsidizes the registration fee for the MCAT, and waives the $160 base fee for your primary application as well the $38 fee for 15 schools. School's will also know whether or not you are receiving fee assistance and therefor they may be willing to waive secondsry fees although this is on a case-by-case basis. I hope that helps!
Hmm, I don't have extensive knowledge about this, but I think that you can call AMCAS (202-828-0600) about this and they'll provide you with more information. :)
