Yes, the 70 Charger is in pretty rough shape, but I have seen worse get the love that they need to be beautiful examples of automotive art. This 70 R/T will be no different. Nick you made the right choice with the body shop. I can tell by the metal work that has been done so far, that George is a very skilled craftsman, and has extensive knowledge of what needs to be done, and how to do it correctly. Stephane your car is in excellent hands, and I know that you will be very excited to see your car come together, over the next few months. I really enjoyed this episode, seeing Nick at the body shop checking the progress on the Charger, and forming a plan. I can't wait for more episodes of this build, it will be a beautiful car when it's done.

The best thing is that the body was primed immediately. There's a lot of people that would do the metal work first, not wanting to take the costs of money and time, it will have to be primed again after the work. This body man knows his stuff, just hours not primed allows moisture to penetrate already porous metal.✨✨✨✨🌟

Each year there are fewer examples of classic cars. In my area, there have been two fires in the last few years of barns (pretty fancy barns) full of amazing cars. Letting one continue to morph into a pile of rust is a sin. Bringing a badly abused and/or rusted out classic back to life is a fine thing indeed. Thanks to anyone who ever does this. We'll all meet in a car heaven.

My guess, is the use of repro-panels will save a lot of money because of the amount of time spent making it like new will be much less... There are advantages to having a car that is NOT extremely rare, and the availability of repro-body panels are some of the best examples of this...

That's not helping to save the outher cars. That's the f. Up mentally we have in the U.S.A. . these cars are Not appliances. Like the new GARBAGE. Restoration is the best form of recycling..

I'm going to guess that there will be just enough of the Charger left to make it REAL expensive... :)) The updates, thankfully, will be free (for me)!

I know it will be beautiful when it's done. Now, it looks like a '70 Charger Swiss Cheese Edition! HA! I am really looking forward to seeing this build come back to life. Nick will make it GO and George will make it Glow! Bill from Linglestown, Pennsylvania

Beautiful Dodge Charger, I've owned two 1969 Chargers and they were great cars. I'll own another soon and this time it will be a keeper.

Hi Nick This charger will be fun to watch you restore. I have a 68 same color, about the shape. It was a 318. I named it the Road Kill Charger. Maybe some day it will be put back together. Thanks for the video.

I wish I lived closer, I'd like to work on the panel replacement and body rebuild. I did a lot of this back in the day and for some odd reason enjoy doing metal repair!

I quit my job during Covid by accident, actually a few, and now I have to work nightshift. Monday mornings are a bad reminder of what I had and lost. Love this new format guys.
