So basically its a 5 year lease without a mileage limitation? However unlike a traditional lease where you give the car up at the end without any financial obligation, other than incidentals, you have to do something this car. You said you just give the car back at the end of the term but thats not what their website says: "Then, at the end of the loan, you will owe the remaining balance of the loan itself. At this juncture, you may choose to pay off the loan or sell, trade, or refinance the vehicle. " Doesn't seem like you could just turn it in, you have to either pay off the balance, sell it privately or to a dealer, trade it in on something else or refinance the balance which is the same as paying it off. What if its only worth $10,000 in 5 years, then you're stuck with a $20k+ financial burden. Might have been better off doing a traditional lease through GMAC or some other bank.

That's a lie that u can get a 2017 C7 Z06 w/Z07 pkg. Im from Raleigh and shoped around and u cant get the top Z06 for less than $95k out the door. I got mine from Capital Chevrolet

People keep saying your payments are to much but dont realize cant get this type of car if your on a budget. Have a 2016 Zo6 payments are about the same.

a 2006 zo6 in decent condition is worth about that much still lol. thats a 13 year old car now. this guy got robbed his c7 is not gonna be worth that little in 5 years.
I doubt a 15 up z06 will be 30k in 5 years, shit a clean 06-07 z06 is in the 30s, I would say mid 40s- low 50s depending on miles, cheapest I’ve found is a 16 z06 2lt package with 650 miles, yes less then 700 miles, for 63995. Now I would assume the 7.0 liter z06 will probably retain its value because its a huge n/a 505 hp engine, everything now is v8 supercharged. Still amazing vehicles.

Thanks and these engines are pretty solid I couldn't find any examples of major engine failure unless somebody was over like 1000whp so tuning isn't super dangerous
No Wheel Drive 229 yeah , from my experience with my gtr , it was cool to drive, but I fell in love with the z06 when I raced one when the c7 came out for that price it’s worth it! I’ve retired from my racing days, But I will not turn down a downshift on the expressway tho 😴🤪 lol. Smart dude to get a auto.
bigwilly94 The C7 stingrays came out 5 years ago in 2013, priced around 55k base. We’re going into 2019, and you still won’t find a 2014 stingray with no accidents or less than 60,000milage for less than 45k. Even the C6s in good condition aren’t going for less than 30k. If there’s any car out there that’s gonna hold it’s value well, it’s a Corvette.

It doesn't work that way because opportunity cost exists. If you have a business(i.e. a place where if you're not there for a month it's still in business) or an investment paying for this with it's income then I'm all for what you're up to.

It’s financing with a balloon payment at the end of the term. It’s a good way to go. You can sell at the end or payoff if you want to keep it. With the low interest rate and the 10k off sticker, not too bad. Nice ride. Good luck!
So you're leasing it, but through a creative financial vehicle offered by PenFed and not through Chevy financial. It's technically not a lease, but effectively it is one in several ways. You said don't "dog" the car. What's the mileage "limit" on your car? Is there one?? I personally wouldn't get a car this way, but if it works for you great! Can you deduct the payment from your taxes like a normal lease? The car can be a business expense for your channel and that money can be deducted from your taxes (on a normal lease).
TheHvk since i financed it no I don't think there's a deduction possible, and there's no millage limit but if you put high miles you run the risk of being underwater at the end

So your paying $1030 per month which is based on a loan amount of $58K. At the end of 5 years you give the car back and walk away with nothing. Or you can go get a loan for $33K and buy it outright. Well it makes sense as to why you wouldn't want to put any money down because they would get all of that for nothing too. Nah no thanks, that doesn't sound like any deal I want. Nice car though.
