mercedes has a lot of motors that are detuned. I too like the 4.7 variant for the stock psi on the turbos are very low which allows a simple tune to produce big results. in a car that's 4500 lbs the torque is more important than the hp so yes the 700 ft pounds really moves that heavy mass. My brother has the 4.7 in his 13 sl and he has 150,000 miles on the car without any problems. A great motor and a simple upgrade with big results! thnx
I have a 2016 Z06, 3LZ, A8, Convertible. I love the way the transmission shifts. It may not be as fast as a duel clutch today, but it is damn fast for a torque converter transmission. Thanks for the video!
The ls460 made almost 400 hp with na 4.6 . What can you ask for more ? My 550 has similar power but has twin turbo so I really think Mercedes didn’t do too well with this .
I kind of agree with you cuz what if I get a manual Corvette let's pretend I have a a girl and then what if I try to put it in drive but I accidentally put it in reverse and I hit a car so that's going to be embarrassing

I currently have the 2019 Grand Sport with the Texas Speed long tube headers and xpipe, with a Pops and Bangs tune, and a tune with increased Horsepower and torque, and AFE Cold Air Intake, and it sounds EXTREMELY & Obnoxiously LOUD ! I love the sound of this Zo6 also. Whoever is interested to do this on their car, make sure to wrap the headers with titanium to reduce heat and put a Accel ceramic Spark plug wires or a shielding on the spark plug wires and also a shielding on the O2 sensor wires to protect them ! If not, you will burn them and you're gonna fry your Engine control module (ECM) ! Been there done that lol Now Im prepared haha
is headers the mod done to the vehicle. decinding which year z to get 15 16 17 etc.. wanting get low miles and heads/cam package. this one very loud for sure

Every car from any manufacturer has the same warranty policy in tunes but the good thing with this s5 is it is very easy to flash it back to stock. This car is very easily to tune and has a lot of power potential
Disagree about the taillights looking feminine. It looks sharp and aggressive much better looking than the later model mercs. Dont want to replace my merc coz the new ones look like Mazda taillights
@@Silent.Z06 That why I ended up buying and puting the Corsa Extreme catback muffler delete w/ AFM valves on my 2022 Corvette Stingray bro !!! ;) And it Does Sound more like an exotic in the higher RPM's and I Love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
