Filipinas dont really demand money from BF or Husband unless they are married and have a child to support. We prefer Guys with stable Jobs but in reality many Filipino dates because we just like the person and the Guy is Good and Take care of us well. Did you know we Filipina have an Ego that we want to work for ourselves we hate to rely to any man or anyone.we wont use a man financing Us because we dont really need to. We are not Rich but we work hard to finance Ourselves and support our Family. There are some really good and honest filipina and it's no different as there are some really good and also horrible men out there as well. Sometimes it's just the luck of the draw and no one knows if they are good or not unless you try with them. And also, there's a reason why many are recommending not to online date because online date seems to have a lot of bad experiences where even other girls learn from it. You can meet some at the mall or even say hello to some on the streets. Innocent filipino who didnt get toxic experience from online dating is what we all need. Once a filipina gets influenced by western or online dating and get used to it, thats when it gets bad. Innocent filipina will be innocent and not do those harmful things to you. Believe me, they really are very wholesome and sweet ladies over there. Quite traditional, especially in the provinces. The Philippine people are just very decent people. They really don't have the greed like most of the people over here have for the most part. They are a happy friendly people, even those who do not have so much. Very, very different from over here.

so true. I only strictly go for filipinas only and no more modern western women anymore. I sent money through western union to my still current filipina girlfriend of 3 years and in the beginning, right off the bat, she say no to me when she didnt ask for help or money at all and it's something I did to surprise her. So yeah.. she said no and tell me to get a refund. I try to convince but she still say no.. and yeah.. after 1-2 weeks I was forced to get a refund because she wouldnt take it. Now imagine the difference compared to * most * western modern women. In this generation, not many will do what filipinas do. And they are so kind. God bless Philippines

It is a rare occurrence in western Society that women have access to men making five times their salary. Whereas in the Philippines, a typical Social Security check is five times more than the average Filipina makes, and the majority of the Filipinas dating foreigners. Don’t even make the average. So while it is true that the nature of women is similar, there is a vast difference in circumstances.

Very true, I married one myself. She got her LVN over here and is always sending money home, once or twice a week, not kidding. The reason American women are so preoccupied with income, is one, so you can buy them everything their heart desires, and two, that the alimony when they dump you will be plenty to live on.

Hypergamy is real, women almost never marry down the economic ladder. The minimum foreigner income formula is: foreigners age - (filipina's age +10)/10 x 50,000 pesos/month. Thus, for a 20 yo provincial princess and a 50 yo guy (50- (20 + 10))/10) = 2 x 50,000 = 100000 pesos/month. This is only a standardized formula, so your mileage may vary. 😂😂

Generally Filipina will not demand how much money a guy can make for us to go on date or to be in a relationship but as a man atleast you have something to bring in the table and if you don’t want to be a sole provider of the family in the future so don’t go on someone who is dependent on you.Its a matter of choice. Relationship nowadays should be give and take.Being a sole provider for the whole family is not mandatory but being a responsible is a must.😊

Why you said not too bad about the age gap (29 and she as 18)? Generally the bigger the age gap less likely guy gonna cheat and more likely he will cherish and adore the girl more. Most philippinas will basically give you a low number on how much we should make probably 2000 and under a month as long as you can put food on table and roof over their head. they are traditional women. My wife has it made i give her 3000 a month for bills and do what she wants with for her and our child. i invest the rest of my money for their futures when i am gone.

So basically even there with relatively short girls height seems to be one of the most important factors. Considering most Filipinos are even shorter than Americans, it also shows they have unrealistic expectations. Also what they say politely on camera is different than what they might think, obviously a lot of these girls aren't going to want to portray themselves or their people as gold diggers.

Putting girlfriends and dating aside by talking about money in general... I've been researching and planning a Philippines "test run" for either 2024 or 2025 since I might stick around for family during the Christmas holidays. I'd have more than enough to sustain myself for a few years (at least the three year visa run without even a question) out there if the culture get's a tight enough grasp on me. My main concern is if I were to stay, is there anything for entry level foreigners out there as I'm not near old nor rich enough to retire. I mean even flipping burgers to start would suffice to start. I know a lot of advice on this points towards remote jobs. Is that our only option as foreigners for entry level jobs or would an employer even look at a 9(g) if it wasn't for a specialized/professional role?

As far as doing your own thing, the easiest most accessible things which would give you a good income-expenditure ratio in developing countries would be copywriting, tutoring (languages, mathematics etc) video editing, graphic design, digital marketing, photography, real estate marketing, product marketing etc.

My GF in Manila back in 2016 was making $11/day working 5 days a week in the Verizon call center. As long as you make more than $11/day I think a woman will take you. "Backpacking with Banger" youtube channel's filipina GF does not have 4 year degree like my GF and only makes like $5/day as a babysitter/caretaker here in 2023.
