Online personal training should now be regarded as an essential arm to anyone's personal training business.
Online personal training has the ability to help you free more time whilst also working with more people from around the world.
With that, how much should you charge for your online personal training services?

Hi, can you add please strongman and olympic weightlifting courses to your Specialist Courses?

We have looked at Strongman in the past but with olympic weightlifting we feel that it needs in-person elements to it.

A very hard business to make a living in I'd imagine. With so many pt's to compete with, so many influencers, and so much good free content out there would be hard to find your space in the market. You see a bunch of these courses which tell people you can become a pt and earn six figures!! Dosnt take much to realise how unachievable this is for most, even 50k a year would be really hard to do. Probably most will be earning 20-25k realistically

the main people this would work for is people who build thier brand and are influencers. Having higher demand means u can charge more. People like greg doucette charge insane amounts for basic coaching because so many people want him

what certification do you need to learn people online , example lets say your not a qualified pt etc but offer a service online what if they end up injured or poorly from your diet advice etc surely there is laws involved regarding this iv never understood how anyone can just do this without qualifications

Without the formal qualifications, you should not be able to get insurance to cover you. You could do it illegally but you wouldn't be covered. The qualification would depend on your country and you would need to make sure you have insurance that covers you for both in-person and online PT. You should check what countries the insurance covers you with. You would need public liability for in-person and professional indemnity for online and advice.

@@ptcollective appreciate the response im really considering looking into doing your online course i just don't want to get my hopes up of doing it and being a complete failure and wasting my time what % of people take this course and make a happy living doing so?

@@GokuPlaysUK Are you already a qualified personal trainer. We have had some great results from those that complete and action the course. As you know many people sign up for courses and will not go through them.
