Hey nurse. If I’ve done my degree here in the uk in midwifery, do you think I’d be allowed to do one of the accelerated nursing programs? Because they want non nursing degree but midwifery falls under nursing so idk if that will be an issue

Yes you will I did my nursing in the uk as well and I was eligible to do the ABSN despite being a non nursing degree. Now some universities may say yes and some may say no. It all depends.

@@nurse_bellinda thanks nurse. And are you doing a masters? Would u recommend the accelerated direct entry masters the ABSN? Eventually I’d want to do a doctorate and become a midwife in the states after a few years

@moeshafullerton8694 yes I am doing my masters. Well it depends on you. Both will give you the rn bsn but direct entry will just take you longer
