Best wishes to you both. I worked solidly for 40 years to pack away enough superannuation to buy a car and van. I'm one of the 60+ demographic on your stats. I don't need to work whilst I travel, for which I'm thankful. I don't envy the time and effort you put into your social media, but good on you for the effort and energy you display. You deserve whatever benefit comes your way. You are doing this great adventure whilst you have the age and energy to manage it. I feel most days that I have one foot near the grave. I hope my health and enthusiasm hangs in there so I can have just a fraction of the fun and adventure you two are having. If only I could afford one of those beautiful Urban vans. I guessed the amount of $$$ per mth in your last poll. The best part is you get to write off most of your costs as business expenses too, because this is your business. Hi Sarah and Keelan. One of the main things I love about watching you two on RU-vid is your genuine and honest discussions without arrogance. We have watched your channel for quite a while now. I realise that there are personal things that you rightly keep to yourself, yet you come across as honest and not presumptuous. A lot of my work life and volunteering involves observing people and interacting with them. Both of you come across honest and down to earth. Your comment about integrity is absolutely true. I'm going solo around Australia in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van. I've completed one lap. I've been off grid. Fuel is the largest part of my budget. Food comes in second. Third is insurance. Then comes maintenance (considering that my van is a 1998 model) is quite surprising. In short: it cost me about $20,000 in total. Lap one was about 200 days. Lap two will be about 2 years. I don't do RU-vid, but have about 30,000 photos and videos...so far. At the end of the day you can drive 100 laps of Australia and not see it all.

i have moved your age bracket up, i'm 70 and just started my tick the bucket before i kick the bucket event tour, and a bit of sight seeing between events. and i am pleased that i am getting some event entries supported by BETTER BEER, after they saw a event tour sticker on my car. ps i will be going to both the bells beach and margaret river surf events, and torquay and prevelly caravan parks are very expensive. i am a bit concerned about doing the GCR on my way to the finke desert race, age seems to have slowed my capabilities down a touch. i enjoy watching your adventures. wilkos bucket list event tour

Just to sum it up we are a married couple managing a diary grazing unit in NZ at the moment, working 7 days a week 10hrs a day and paying ourselves $6.50 an hr each trying to survive. I really enjoyed your explanation of how you supplement your income whilst having a great time traveling Australia. I am now a new subscriber and wish you both an amazing journey. You both came across well without unnecessary hype just very real. My hubby and I are nearing retirement @ 60's and 70. and our goal is to travel. i would like to purchase a caravan whilst my husband thinks it would be better purchasing a RV. I am an adventurous person and think we would be too restricted in a RV. I know you read the comments so I thought I would tell you how I come across your channel. This video popped up on my feed I think because I was watching Lydia and Wehan in their Tassie adventure. I have been researching to see if Tasmania is somewhere I’d like to move to. I really enjoy them because they are genuine and not pretentious at all.
