That's awesome! I grew up in Louisville but went to college at Eastern Kentucky University, and that played a big role in how I talk. But also my mom's from Wisconsin and I spent a year in Australia, so sometimes my words come out all over the place! Haha
Wow such beautiful views! Yes I would have been super annoyed with a mix-up like that! I agree any day spent outside on adventures even with mishaps is funner than being inside 💕❄️🌲 ✨ ☀️
absolutely gorgeous view of that mountain face. banff national park is on the to-do list…once a passport is acquired unfortunately wouldn’t be able to enjoy ice skating on the lake, i’m only able to skate with protective barriers to crash into
Beautiful place! Are you doing the AT in 2023? It's been fun watching the early starters. Your channel will explode. Thru hikes get a huge follow and you deserve it!
@@BeerinBeautifulPlaces I have watched alot of thru hikes on RU-vid. One thing that really stands out is when people film at their camp stops for the night. Little things like your meals, tent/shelter life, zero day footage in town and at the hostels etc add a perspective you don't get to see alot. (Obviously you have to be respectful of other people and you will probably be exhausted, but before your totally famous with a million viewers I wanted to mention that lol! Best wishes!)
That was so cool, Canada sure is beautiful! You looked so truly happy when you were skating, a big smile on your face! I admire you, thanks for the videos Maddie.
I've been there. Such a lovely place. We drove through the rockies then spent time in Alaska. Went whale spotting. The best bit was when we had a pod of orcas playing round the boat and there were 2 calves with them! Was funny as the captin got more excited seeing the seals. I live in a town on the coast in Kent. We have alot of seals round here, we don't ever have orcas though! I didn't get pictures though as was 20 years ago before camera phones and i wasnt trusted to take my pops camera with the ridiculous sized zoomy thing incase l dropped it over board. I dont blame him as thats the kind of stupid thing i do. Im so lucky to have been to some amazing places and seen some great things. If I were ever to visit the same place again, hands down it would be Alaska. Ketchican ect. Skagway was fun, taking my folkes round the Red Onion Saloon. They thought it was just an old house so I let them think that. Was funny when the penny dropped when the lady there explained about it being the best brothel in town back in the day. Alaska, my favourite place in the world. Although, when i first took in the clean fresh crisp air, my lungs felt strange to start to start with as they obviously got confused about all the oxygen they were getting instead of pollution. These vids have brought some great memories back for me. Awesome to see you making some great memories yourself.
That’s awesome! Sounds like you’ve been to some amazing places! Memories like you dropping your dad’s camera or like me getting off at the wrong stop really make the trip more memorable, don’t they? Thank you for taking the time to share your story and leave a nice comment for me!
Wow! That was an adventure! So cool and love how you always make the most of any misfortunes you encounter. What a neat place to end the day after a beautiful hike!
@@BeerinBeautifulPlaces no kidding! So much fun when an unfortunate event leads to something incredible! I'm so jealous of the adventure you are taking. I'm glad your posting more videos as you are truly living my dream of exploring.
Glad to see you are having fun! It is so beautiful! I am a survivor of an attack while solo adventuring, so please be careful while you’re living your dream ❤
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope that you've gone support and help since then, that must have been an absolutely awful thing to go through. Sending all my love
