Hi, I’m Maddie! Celebrating an outdoor adventure with a beer has been a long-time tradition for me, and I wanted to create a place for like-minded folks to come together. In my videos, I cover all types of adventures and review beer! Topics include day hiking, kayaking, travel, thru-hiking, and life on the road. In short, if you would describe yourself as an outdoorist, outdoorsman, outdoorswoman, hiker trash, nomad, or dirtbag, come on along, this is the channel for you! Welcome and cheers! 🥾🌎🍻
Hi maddie, I love your videos, I'm definitely a big fan. Loved Lake Stanley. I'm new to your channel sorta, been watching for a few weeks now. I can't wait for your next adventure to be posted. I do suggest you check out trail creek hot springs while your in that area. You can park right on the side of road and camp and you walk down a short short trail to the hot spring right on the creek. It's free and it's very cool. But then hey that whole area is blessed with coolness and beauty. Be safe and God bless you!
Ranger you are a jewel. I am inspired to get out on some adventures in some of our beautiful nature filled dates and parks. You get excited about experience nature in its most uncomplicated and basic ways . Love you & your channel. ❤😊
Congratulations!!! I’ve been following you for a few weeks since I saw you on Kyle hates hiking! Love love love watching your posts!!! Love and hugs from Germany! P.S Smoke is so cute 🥰👌
Maddie love you're videos. ... getting ready to travel and sleep in a honda pilot..could you show ....tell how you find spots to overnight at ...I know I've just got to get out and do it! Take Care and thank you.
Maddie This is the mom in me talking, but i notice ur choice in food r not to healthy, im guessing is cause this kind of food is easier in the road, maybe u eat healthier at home? 🥦 🥕 Love this place, is so peaceful! ❤️
Sometimes it’s hard to believe that level of beauty is just out there to enjoy…and you DID enjoy it! Those water bottles do a great job of hiding behind the beer in backpacks 😂
Ah, yes. The bugs. Been there in Stanley, Idaho, and rafted the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. Great fun and beautiful surroundings. The Indians called it 'The River of No Return.' Nice adventure. Be well, stay safe. 🥾
Grew up going to Stanley Lake nearly every summer as a kid and teen. It looks like it’s changed some. The road going into it from the highway is paved now? I also understand that the sandbar boat launch area near the Stanley Creek Inlet completely disappeared after the sawtooth earthquake a few years back. And yeah I agree Stanley lake has some of the coldest water. My brother and I swam across the entire lake when I was young.
She is lucky to have made it through. Her footwear and clothing don't cut it. Going through water that high with that hard doesn't cut it. Risking hypothermia doesn't cut it. Hiking solo doesn't cut it. Et cetera!
Oh. Yu saw a fish jump. Maybe bring a compact spin cast outfit & trout spinners. 7:48 well, that's one way to test PFDs😂 Gurl you're dunkin in 41° water.😅
This was great! My niece lives in Meridian and we’ve driven through the Sawtooth Mountains. They cut their Christmas trees up there. I would love to make it there on my travels. I have a question. I’ve asked about your camera and the hidden stick but is this your phone and is it waterproof? I would love to know how you take your videos and edit them. Thanks again for a great video. I can’t wait to get started.
You are not allowed to bring a “potato” into Idaho. I guess They don’t want a chance of disease or any mixing of the Idaho potato genetics . Such a beautiful mountain in the background.! You look like you are having fun ! They don’t have water snakes that far north do they? Water is good for the soul and body . Bet u slept well THAT night ! Happy to see the PFD and glad it was only one beer 😅. That mosquito blood was very likely your blood .
Insanely gorgeous area! That'd make me happy there too. How awesome!!! Are there grizzlies in that area do you know? I'd totally swim like that and under my board too lol, love it! How are you keeping your food cold this trip, Maddie? Stay safe!
