Thanks man! Yeah, it was a little bit of a struggle. If I had the tools necessary and had just taken the shock to the shop in the first place for the spring, it would have been a 2 day thing. Don't be afraid!
Haha, just like me whenever I work on my X. Takes 5 times as long because of a seized bolt that requires 12 different tools to loosen 🤣 I love penetrating oil!
Nice video man and that Stryker is the shit!! My favorite color out of all of them. With the back lowered, have you noticed any bottoming out? Did you adjust the preload at all?
I kicked the Preload up two clicks from stock and threw on a progressive spring. if anything, its a little TOO stiff, and I want to loosen it up a notch. no issues with Bottoming out.
I actually need to leave the left side peg bracket on for the swingarm bag attachment, which means I have to remove the pegs and not the brackets, which involves punching out a pin. It's all funky ...but we will get there eventually :-p
