How Often Should I use Salicylic Acid? 

When you observed that your skin is dry ? after washing ? or after some hours using of SA cleanser ?

@@StunningBeats my skin goes through phases of being dry, especially during winter months. I’ve found that it’s usually my environment that causes the dryness and not the products I use. My current AM routine is gentle cleanser, vitamin c serum, moisturiser and then spf. My current PM routine is oil cleanser, SA cleanser, niacinamide, retinol and moisturiser. Previously I was using a clean & clear daily SA cleanser twice a day and my skin wasn’t dry at all.

​@@danigrave3436Salicylic acid make your skin dry, but if you use moisturizer after Salicylic it's probably fine.

@@thephantom9227 I do, I use Cerave moisturising lotion or cream (depending on season) after using salicylic acid.

If you have sun exposure then use salicylic at night and retinol other nights make sure you use good moisturizer after using salicylic acid

​@OrangeNara2 Both are active ingredients. Cannot use both together. Would give bad reactions like irritating your skin, etc.

You can use it daily, 2% isn’t going to do anything

My Tips is don't leave it for too long on your face.. after cleansing wash it off immediately

Stop using it immediately and use a ceramide based rich hydrating moisturizer

You are using it too often and not moisturising enough. 1. Recovery: Stop using the cleanser and change it for a basic one. Make sure you are moisturising properly after washing your face while it's still damp. You can add a hyaluronic acid serum. This should take like a week if it's just dry patches or up depending of how dry and flaky it is. 2. Reincorporation: Reduce the frequency for the SA cleanser, start with once a week and go up if needed. Start at night, not day and moisturise afterwards. Make sure to use sunscreen the next morning

@@udaysharma8711 I read more about it and how often you should use it is based on what % or salicylic acid is in the product But on myself it worked, I used it once a day or once every 2/3 days

If its in the form of cleanser, I think still fine.. I tried last time for everyday and it dries and dehydrated my skin.. If its leave on max 2 times weekly especially if its 2% high concentration
