I don’t know why minecraft players get upset by this. It’s literally true that the average player is young. Sure it’s not EXCLUSIVELY younger kids that play, but the average age of players is probably like 13. He never said it was exclusively kids that played, just that they are the primary audience.
The donkey Kong one is just the amount of years since Donkey Kong came out. It's a weird Google quirk where if you ask a characters age, it will show you the age of the source material sometimes. That's why people think peach is 16 but thats just the age of the DS game Super Princess Peach.

For the Barbie part they are most likely referring to the most recent Barbie series which she is a senior in high school and doesn’t have her lifetime of careers yet, based on the Barbie’s Life in the Dream House she would probably be in her 50s or something since she has every job in the world
Minecraft Steve's age probably will either be as old as when Minecraft existed or think about our age, if your 13, then Steve will probably have the same age.
