It’s kinda weird that that moths are are literally baby’s in the world of sky, like they where just born a minute ago and already know how to walk and fly
Lmao when I was a moth, I could fly, just didn't know how and sucked at it, I'm confused now how I survived the golden wasteland without flying at all and not attacked by krill
I started playing Sky during the season of Sanctuary (half of it). It took me a month to understand that if u claimed the daily quests at home, it would give u seasonal candles...😭
@@artikulv731 In case you don't have the context (if you do, just ignore this reply), Journey is a game the company made before Sky (as well as flOw and Flower). Not sure if the last one is a full game or a prototype
I was a Little Prince Moth, day one as soon as it released on switch. Really wish I could have experienced the prior seasons but watching the game blossoming further as I continue to play is magical!
@@newmoon6549 it consists of candle running consistently+pain for about a week and then neglecting the game for months by only logging on for tasks (followed up by more pain when you realize the next day you didn’t actually collect the daily task candles cause you were so burnt out and wanted to log out asap so now you’re more upset you missed out on those candles that you cr only for the process to repeat)
I started playing and I remember getting the spirits of rythm, but I just cared about exploring the map so I didn’t do anything from the season. I only started playing again in the sanctuary, so consider myself a child from the sanctuary.❤ I was flying and I saw the entrance towards the sanctuary and I was like: Was This ginormous hole in the clouds here!??👁️👄👁️ For a loooong time, i had no idea that there were seasons.
The funnest part about those times were when they introduced at home ice rink during gratitude I still remember a dude wearing gratitude mask while we both just spun around the ice lol and chibi mask and firework staff was the best cosmetic around
Better late than never though! I felt the same way when I joined (season of the little Prince) but I feel better now that I’ve been playing a few years
though i played days after sanctuary ended, which was closer compared to prophecy. it felt like it was more fitting for me to be a prophecy season kid as it was my very first event + season pass my dear friend gave to me ✨
I’m a dinosaur: came in at the tail-end of Lightseekers, and have every seasonal emblem since. Even I can’t believe I’ve played this long, though not everyday anymore. And I quit doing Eden runs over a year ago. They’re so stressful! 😂
I am an assembly moth.. i remember the sky community being so welcoming and it just melted my heart.. i made many friends throughout my days..making unforgettable memories.. i had taken a break for almost a year (i quit during the end of the season of aurora, due to meeting a disgusting person through the game..) but these days i’ve gotten multiple ads of sky, like it’s my calling back to the game 😂 so i decided to play again, and my god, had i missed a lot.. i’d forgotten about how calming, and how beautiful this game is.
A player from season of enchantment here, god I can't believe I have been playing Sky for so long. I stopped playing and I'm waiting for the pc version to get back into the game, but I really enjoyed the times when I actively played it. Sweet memories ❤

my friend introduced me to this game during the season of rhythm and honestly, i'm really glad she did cuz it's such a beautiful game, as well as the ost 😭😭 i went and played journey at the end of 2020, and i can see that's where they got a lot of their inspiration for sky
As someone who was born in late dreams, yet no longer plays (I've had some bad experiences with the community), I am so happy to see how far it's come. I used to be a very active member of the discord from late 2021 to early 2023, and I just want to share this advice: To moths: Don't be afraid to explore! Though some areas are locked off until later, it's important to maintain your curiosity. Also, explore at your own pace. It makes the journey all the more worth it to explore yourself. The music, story, lore, and graphics are beyond insane, so be sure to savor everything while you can! P.S: The discord can be a bit scary and even toxic at times, so make sure to go into it ready!
July 2020 sanctuary moff here too. Can’t believe so many seasons have come and gone since. I love sky now still and always will, I still play pretty much daily, but things have changed a lot, and that first year+ during the pandemic was so magical. Nothing will quite compare to how magical this game used to be. Before all the focus on cosmetics and everything got so very expensive. I miss the old sky sometimes; when it really was all about the friends you met along the way.
I know some of you are cusp moths meaning you started between seasons. This is incredible because you had time to build up and get ready for the next season. You are amazing too
Joined halfway though Season Of Enchantment, but didn't participate since I had no idea what to do and didn't do really anything within the game until just before Season Of Sanctuary (still my favorite place in the game). I was looking for a realistic flight simulator to learn from at the start of the pandemic and ended up downloading Sky.
I started in season of enchantment all the way to season of assembly. I quit cause the candle grind got boring. Now I'm trying to catch up on everything lol.
@@kassaken6521 The only way I keep it interesting is by mentoring moths to the point where I have them fly us around for candle runs. They up skill their flying ability and it challenges them. I've lost a few lives in Wasteland as a result, but it's exciting for them.
@@kassaken6521 literally same, though i stopped at the next season. The game wasn't fun anymore and basically became a chore so i quit. Lately I've been feeling nostalgic so i downloaded it again but I'm playing VERY causally, don't wanna fall in the grinding rabbit hole again

joined sky when sanctuary was just beginning! i wear the shell cape and the braided hair all the time still, the memories from back then make them prettier every day ❤ still salty about that strawhat tho... i didn't really understand how season candles worked back then so sometimes i didn't collect them at Home even after doing the daily mission 💔 my favorite season was definitely little prince tho, i loved every second!!
I feel like an old man knowing that I joined shortly after the first version of the game, even though I first finished it during the season of prophecy.
Technically I downloaded the game while season of performance was happening. Played like a day and deleted it because I was confused 😅 a few months later I installed the game again and season of shattering had begun and I’ve been playing ever since
I started playing while Gratitude was just ending so Lightseekers was my first season 💖 and funny enough its because of Aurora I even found this game! So when her season came out oh my god 😭❤️❤️

I am a season of flow flower and journey 😂 played all the bigger tgc games before sky ever happened, was very happy to see them make a mobile game thats just as pretty, with references to all of their other games, thats completely free to play
When you think about it, sky is like a combination of every past TGC game. Journey is the most obvious ones, but there are elements of flower in it (especially clear when you collect light behjnd you in the race like how you collect petals in flower), then theres there are elements of Flow in the glowing creatures in sky, lastly, cloud also basically looks like a proto-sky with a flying child in te clouds.
i started at season of performance and then stopped playing for about a year, coming back to rememberance. to this day the performance spirits are my favourites because they bring back memories! the performance guides quest was the first one i finished fully and i loved it
I played sky for a bit back in 2019 then quit for about 2 years. I reinstalled the game during Season of The Little Prince and haven't stopped playing since.
I started towards the end of season of assembly, but I didn't really know what was going on at the time. My first season is really little prince. You could drag little prince around hehe

I played journey YEARS ago. I saw sky for a couple of years on my switch and App Store. It was until January 2023 I started playing it. I came back to it during season of passage and since then I play it almost everyday :))
I played Journey after playing Sky for months, and really loved it. Such a tender and gorgeous game! I always thought Sky was an expanded version of Journey.
Joined sky during assembly and I had no idea how seasons or quests worked kinda regret not doing all the assembly quests since I can never find anyone to do them with and I'm very introverted. But I'm glad I can say I'm a veteran now. 😁😁😁
The first time I played Sky was in the Little Prince season, although Eden didn't happen and I didn't know about the seasons, I removed the game and came back for the season of destruction and I didn't do it either, so after losing me I didn't play it again until dawn where I understood about seasons and my first season was Aurora
I don’t even remember which season I entered in for my first time playing. I know I started playing during March, probably in 2020. I do remember doing the season with all the people with the bird masks too, but that’s pretty much it. I then took a long hiatus on the game before returning to it for a couple times during the years and now I’m playing it a lot now. Mainly because I forgot which account had my main avatar. All I know is that I’m probably considered ancient in the game, since I remember doing the season of sanctuary, season of enchantment, and the one with the trials. Edit (again): I think I joined in season of rhythm, but I’m not too sure.
I've been playing since it launched on Android, since the Sanctuary season. I had no idea I was so old at the game :) I only started playing with a season pass in the Little Prince season onwards!

It's so weird to remember little moth me looking up to the Ikemen like "I wanna be like that someday!" confusedly running about the forgotten ark like "What's a season? What's orange candol? :o" (yes, I missed most of it due to my confusion, which is such a shame because it's one of my favorites :( [I might be biased]) And now I sore through the skies elegantly, I often get questions like "Where'd you get that cape?" or "WAIT, YOU'VE BEEN PLAYING FOR FOUR YEARS?" and of course "you know what you're doing, right? Can you please help me?" interestingly we seem to have moved past "Are you real? I thought you were an NPC." 😅 I kind of wish I had the season pass for enchantment, to show my happiness over my birth season, but I always like seeing Enchantment as my birth season, Sanctuary as my sky childhood and Prophecy as the season where sky me finally grew up.
