I think perhaps Bane was ready to hang up his hat 🎩 (pun intended) and made it appear that he had been killed by Fet in order to pass the torch and be able to ride off into the sunset in his old age. After all… how many times had Cad Bane used the same technique as in play lame duck in order to lure his opponent into an attack? He could have easily taken the shot and killed Bobba Fet if he had wanted to but he didn’t… which leads me to believe he might have been planning his death… or so it seems!?! 😮
Either something powerful about that race of aliens, or Cad Bane is simply the exception to the bunch. At the age of 71 years old he was still much faster than Boba Fett at the quick draw. And Boba Fett I believe was just as fast if not a hair faster than his father Jango Fett.
Jango is so slept on though living in his son's shadow it's unfortunate because I honestly think if Jangos jetpack wasn't screwed by the dinosaur thing he could've at least gotten away... If not for that dinosaur windu definitely would've been dead it was the perfect opening Jango was just really unlucky
One of my proudest nerd moments was recognizing Cad Bane in Book of Boba Fett faster than even New Rockstars did in their breakdown. And so don’t even know how I knew, or why that would have even been a thing that could happen. And, man, did they do him right.
In my own headcanon, I'm just imagining Blaise actually just blankly staring at Curtis and, somehow, makes conversation. That, or Curtis is just a wee bit crazy, and just talking to himself.
To many of the bounty hunters in Star Wars, bounty hunting wasn’t just a job or career, it was a way of life which is one of the main reasons Bane and others didn’t accept Boba as a crime lord. Boba was the offspring of Jango and took up the mantle of bounding hunting for his father but like other religions, bounty hunting is like a religion with a creed and code, which we saw heavyily implied in the early season 1 of The Mandalorian. It wasn’t until one’s time is up that one would naturally give up bounty hunting which is why Bane and others tried to spit on Boba when he decided to change his life choices from common merc to a kingpin.
I think Canon lifespan for Duros is like 120, so he’s around late 40’s in human years. But that’s still badass! The most notorious bounty hunters going tow-to-tow in a live action

We need a live action show in the vein of Andor, set in post revenge of the sith, right after bad batch between rebels. An underworld series where characters like cad bane can take interesting twists and turns…Easy money for disney
Im unaware of his species life expectancy, but just because he is 70, doesn’t mean his joints hurt in the morning. He’s not human, it might be safe to assume he is still in his prime. He also said he’s faster than Boba Fett if. If only eastwood could still move around like he used to😢😂
Think i heard people complain that he was too pale compared to his clone wars design but While Rebels was more faithful to how the actors look Clone wars was very stylized based off the Genndy Tartakovsky's Star Wars specials. And given Grand melon head's species was shown in ROTS Cad Bane being paler makes sense since he's literally an old man
Cad Bane has probably had his aging augmented. I don't know when he upgraded to wearing that mechanism with bacta on his back. It probably slows aging is my guess. Like the reverse of sped up aging like the clones had.
He got so freaking nerfed in bobf, went from taking the entire senate hostage, stealing a Holocron, one of the most secure items in the Galaxy, and defeating countless Jedi to an old man who can’t win a duel
