Follow along as I (Daniel Roberts USA 110 Hurdler) prepare for the best season of my life……so far!!😉
This video is the first of what will be a series documenting my Progression throughout the 2024 Olympic season and I’m honored that you have decided to follow along.
I intend to highlight the highs and lows of my life as a professional track and field athlete and invite you into my life to get to know me in ways the media may not show.

For me, greatness is training so hard that events become easy and being able to do things like the 110m hurdles easily. It's really impressive.

Greatness is not a term that only the greatest athletes achieve, nor is it something that only other people can give you. You yourself can also tell yourself how great you are by setting goals and celebrating the small wins that come along with the journey to achieve your ultimate goal. When you achieve your goals and take the abnormal approach to achieve them is when you will reach true greatness

In the means of track and field, greatness means breaking my own records and personal bests, staying consistent, being versatile, inspiring others, and having longevity! I am a freshman athlete in college and I just had my first meet on the 1st of this month and I see that I have things that I need to improve on, of course, but I need to work on not being so hard on myself because if I stay consistent and work hard the results will come in due time.

This will prove what your character is like in hard times. You have to be calm through the storm to reach Greatness

I think greatness is all about pushing your limits and inspiring others. I think you breaking records can be a way to achieve this, but things like being an influencer will inspire others as well. If you're talking about the GOAT (GREATEST of all time) they have to break records or at least come clos to it. Pushing limits can also be achieved by breaking records, but pushing personal limits can be just as important. If you get a PB, you will feel great, which is the start of greatness.

Im 16 and from a very small town so i dont think i have the beat idea of greatness but to me its accomplishing something despite the challenges, being able to do what you want even when faced with mental and physical stressors. Winners can be remembered as great or not so great people, but anyone can be remembered as great if they become humble and kind in everything that they do, and putting forth effort everytime they compete in whatever they do, regardless of the outcome.

Greatness is not determined by records, medals, or podium rankings instead it’s determined by what you have within yourself; your mindset, actions, drive, efforts, and motivation all play a huge factor and when you keep a positive mindset everything else falls in line helping achieve greatness
