My theory from a long time ago is Joyboy was a giant and the giant hat goes with a giant “one-piece” swimsuit. It lines up with roger and everyone laughing so hard too

What if Roger laughed because he was reading Joyboys adventures. this would also explain why he said, "Oh joyboy, I wish I was born in your time." he could have said this because of how great the story was. This is why I feel like it could be Luffys story, and that would be why Roger said, "I got here far too early" cause it is foreshadowing that it is meant to be Luffys story all along

Haven't watched the video yet but I wanted to get this off my chest first- I firmly believe the One Piece is a clock, or at least associated with a countdown timer of sorts. Between Toki who is from the void century and all that her character implies as well as the concepts of fate/destiny, I just can't escape the feeling that the One Piece is associated with time in a HUGE way. One Piece is whatever Gear 5 Luffy wanted to create, AKA Luffy's Dream which is the same as Roger's. Roger being too early just means that Luffy's Devil Fruit (the key) to the treasure of One Piece is in possesion of someone else.

For gaimon, it wasn’t that there was not treasure it was that someone got to it first. I wonder if luffy won’t be the first to wield whatever the one piece is, or if he’ll have to make peace with losing it like gaimon did

In my opinion.... You CANNOT be disappointed if the treasure ends up being nothing, cause every video and every manga you've read or watched have made you happy, surprised, ecstatic, cry, sad, hyped, enraged and so on. Like the theory proposed, there's no treasure, but you ended up feeling all these emotion and got to know and maybe got attached to all these characters you met along the way (by reading/watching). and there lies your Treasure.

I was happy seeing Gaimon having a lady friend and enjoy life on that Rare Animal Island with it's creatures. If the ONE PIECE was never a collective treasure (gold, jewels, ancient artifacts, etc.)...then I wouldn't be disappointed or angry. Like Luffy, I enjoy the journey than reaching the end. Until we reach Laugh Tale, let's enjoy whatever adventure that comes in the last Arc(s).

The one piece is a stone where joyboy wrote his dream to live a life in freedom and full of meat and partys. After roger saw what the one piece is he called the island "Laugh Tale" because everyone hunts for this treasure which is not a treasure like gold but the dream of a man who wants meat and partys

My theory is that Luffy IS the One Piece and the X on his chest has marked the spot this entire time. He is the one piece that connects everything. Laugh Tale is Luffy's final resting place and his gravestone is a poneglyph with his entire story on it which is basically a cheet sheet on how to become pirate king because of everything Luffy has seen. He is the original Joyboy and the One Piece we are reading now is a timeline where things will have a good ending after Luffy time travels back to try and save the ancient kingdom where the devil fruit tree is located. (He saves the fruit and people but the kingdom is an inevitable sacrifice.) Roger laughed at the One Piece when he realized his role in the story of the world gaining freedom is just as a catalyst and that he has to die to kickstart the great pirate era (like Dr Strange saying there is only one way to beat thanos) He reads that the world originally became enslaved to the government because there was no pirate era and there was no JoyBoy. Imu is after Luffy because she is from the ancient kingdom and realizes there are the two timelines once she notices Luffy is the same Joy Boy she betrayed in the past. Luffy IS the One Piece and we are reading the story of Timeline 2 that Luffy has already saved that Imu is trying to change back to the original version.

i think the one piece is an advanced type of technologie that can make islands become connected ( type of continent ) and reunites the world into one piece. Firstly, this could only be real if the red line gets destroyed. Secondly, this could help luffy accomplish his dream to throw a party where every one is envited. Lastly, i think this technologie can only be activated by the straw hat and this could explain it's importsnce.

okay the last theory actually makes a lot of sense, as we now Joy boy brought the ship to the fishmen island, so probably luffy was the the reason of many deaths on the fishmen island after destroying the red line, but he travelled back in time to become joyboy and safe them all by presenting them a big ship. So this story we now see in the manga/anime is actually the new version of the universe where everything goes after joyboys plan. And Safe the fishmen island population.

I maintain the thought that Joyboy and the original continent pulling Oars were the one and the same. The theory follows that Oars in thriller bark was the second oars, with oars jr being his son, and the actual continent puller was Joyboy (someone who would actually have the size to pull continents using the abilities of the Nika Nika fruit to stretch islands and pull them away from other land masses). This theory posits that the Onigashima skull is the skull of the true Joyboy (Marco states confusion at the name of Onigashima stating “thats what they’re calling it now?” Which adds evidence that onigashima will have been something or someone important). Alongside this, I think that if Joyboy really was the continent puller/onigashima it could explain the mountains around wano protecting Pluton, as well as why pluton is there in the first place. Plus, the whole Ancient or Great Kingdom (dif translations both accurate) naming could relate to either Ancient Giants or great could be in reference not to the span of the kingdom and how influential it is, but rather that it literally was great and large, a kingdom for ancient giants. That would also fit with why so much of the tech from the ancient kingdom, and their remaining constructions such as the Ark Noah are so massive in scale

The only problem with roger realising he was the cause of creating joyboy via his own death and luffy travelling back in time being the actual joyboy is the fact the void century still happened and they lost the war to the WG back then. so it would end in a plot hole/paradox unless they returned via toki's fruit when she was there to continue the fight in present day after learning the truth. It would explain how she knew about kaido and his defeat though. Hopefully the main plot isnt time travel related but we did have the rainbow mist time travel section early on so who knows tbh.

This is my ultimate one-piece theory… Skypiea is the best story ever told, and it all makes so much sense. First off, let’s talk about Enels’ devil fruit. It is so powerful it’s described as invincible, but why? I kept questioning this in my head for a while, then I realized it. Someone had eaten this devil fruit and used it to its full potential to become invincible to the people of the past like it was to the Skypiean people who represent Lunarians from the past who initially gave this devil fruit that title and reputation. Everyone who’s watched the ark knows that Luffy defeats Enel as he perfectly countered him, and we also know that Luffy had eaten the human-human fruit model Nika which was JOYBOYS devil fruit. I believe that oda had already told us the story of joy boy, and it was right in our faces. Joyboy fought this god-like being just like Luffy did and defeated him. This made joy boy earn the respect of the Lunarians, who now looked up to him and shared the stories of him saving their people from a false god. Near the start of the ark, Luffy meets the great-great-grandson of Noland, the liar who had been mistreated and segregated from the rest of the island because of his family and is clowned for believing in the city of gold. Hence, he dives into the bottom of the ocean, looking for gold from the golden city to prove it did exist. Luffy promises him that he will prove the city exists. The main idea of this tiny fraction of the ark was about dreams; this is also where we are first introduced to Blackbeard and Doffy, two significant characters in the story one believes dreams don’t exist and have no purpose while the other believes dreams also never die and CANT be destroyed. Overall, this story represents Dreams and beliefs and how they should never die. This is also where we first heard of JoyBoy near the end of the ark. This is well known, but joy boy had written an apology letter to the fish men and promised that he would make a world where they could live on the surface of the ocean; he then built that giant boat that we have seen, which is what the fish men will ride to the surface after Luffy destroys fish men island which will happen because it’s already been prophesied by Madam Shyarly. Enel ship, I think, represents one of the ancient weapons, most likely the one we don’t know the whereabouts of ( Imu 100% have this weapon ). But also going back to the Lunarians, as a gift to Joy-boy for saving them, they had given him the original straw hat. I also think after joy boy fought with the ancient kingdoms in an attempt to hide his story and erase him from history, the “now” world government killed all the Lunarians because they were the ones who worshiped joy-boy and told his inspirational story, so the people they enslaved won’t hear about his story then rise and liberate. My theory on one piece is that it’s a giant bell or drum that only someone like Luffy, Joyboy, or sun god Nika could use. Banging on the instrument will be heard by everyone in the world, maybe even showing the people who joy boy is and his story and how the world government is wrong. Or maybe helping give hope to the enslaved and letting them know they will be liberated. This also explains why Roger and his crew laughed because when they attempted to use the bell or drum, it wouldn’t make any sound at all, so they thought it was broken or some joke; please, please tell me if this is good; it’s a little confusing to understand, but I can go so much further in the rabbit hole than this and I would love to hear your theory’s

I honestly think that whatever luffy's dream is we may have gotten a hint towards it in film red. Luffy specifically mentions that his gold has something to do with creating a error in specifically compared to uta dream of creating a peaceful world.

About Luffy travelling back in time: Luffy could have eaten a fruit that was nothing more than the Rubber Fruit, but his actions as joyboy in the past and the way people viewed him then changed the fruit into a mythical Zoan. It's the classic grandfather paradox, so it fits this story full of tropes very well. And it plays into Vegapunk's recent explanation on how Devil Fruits come into existance. I don't actually believe that Luffy literally is Joyboy though. Timetravel won't be how this all plays out, I hope. It's still a fun idea.

I highly believe Enies Lobby has something Major to do with everything going down towards the end. I mean, The hole basically indicates that Mother Flames was used there, indicating that they went all out to hide something, considering that poneglyphs and other ancient stuctures etc are basically indestructible (some) BUT. hear me out. What IF, Enies Lobby follows the same "Lost in translation" as many other things within the Series? Such as Raftel being Laugh Tale. What if, Enies Lobby is actually Inu's Lobby? hope i sparked some thoughts there!

I kinda think the “Gaimon” arc was, again- in my opinion, to show that Luffy is very impulsive and will ask everyone that he likes to join his crew. But he won’t throw a fit or anything if they don’t accept his invitation, especially if it wouldn’t benefit their dream but hinder it.

Possible inspiration for ONE PIECE, "Esteban, Child of the Sun". Hi all, Recently, I discovered an interesting correlation between ONE PIECE and an old japanese anime called "The Mysterious Cities of Gold" or " Esteban, Child of the Sun" that was uncannily similar to ONE PIECE. This series aired in Japan when Oda-sensei was around 7-8 years old for reference. The gist of the story is: The protagonist is a young boy called Esteban, who was saved in his childhood by a respected sailor that promised him to took him in his adventures (Shanks). This "Shanks" gave Esteban an amulet of great importance, much like how Shank's hat was given to Luffy Esteban sailed to the sea in order to find a city of gold considered a fantasy by people. The place he goes is called "The New World", and his ship had a lamb head in the front. During the voyage, he encounters a young girl called Zia: she's the only survivor of an old tribe capable of reading a forgotten language that's key to reveal the history of the world (poneglyph) and the location of the "City of gold". Her tribe was murdered by some mysterious brutal force, and her island was burned down to ashes. She ends up joining his adventure. The way to find this city of gold is exactly the same as Laugh Tale: finding four secret locations and connecting them on a map. In their adventure Zia got captured a few times, and was forced to read the ancient signs by malicious pirates. She then lied, in the same way Robin did. Over time, more people joined the crew. We meet people of all size and races, and experience unnatural sea phenomena (like sea currents capable of lifting ships through the air). In a point, Esteban got captured by a 100% woman Amazonian tribe that fight with bows and live with snakes. There it is revealed he has the capability of controlling the weather, something he does unintentionally. The Amazonians end up helping our protagonists, recognizing that strange phenomena as a prophecy of some kind. Zia's abilities eventually lead the crew to one of the "Ancient Weapons", a highly technologized ship with a tremendous power capable of navigating at amazing speeds. The ship has a lion head in the front. After all this events, we discover the culprits behind Zia's childhood tragedy: a powerful civilization of aliens established in the earth (They were called "OLMECS" literally "Rubber People"). They tortured and slaved people from all races, and exerted what's basically a global control over hundreds of years. Their interest: the city of gold and its treasure (an object, like ONE PIECE). We eventually end up arriving at this "Laugh Tale". In the entrance, we see a blocked door and a man with the mask of the sun god (we then discover this man is the father of our protagonist, and a member of an important cult dedicated to preserve the Ancient Kingdom). He then proceed to tell us the story of the ancient kingdom. The Ancient Kingdom was a highly technologized civilization of the past reduced to nothing by a war and the power of "ancestral weapons". Their civilization was built around the solar energy, so they were identified as the "sun people". They were the ones who built cities of gold around the world (each one being exactly like Shandora), but most of those cities were hided after the events that took place. We discover that this amulet "Shanks" gave to Esteban was the key to access the city of gold and its treasure (Laugh Tale & ONE PIECE). Meaning Roger and his crew were most likely locked out from the One Piece because Shanks had the key. Perhaps this is why they all laughed, after all the time and effort spent trying to find this treasure they weren’t even able to see it because the key was unknowingly entrusted to someone who wasn’t there. Roger said they arrived at the wrong time because he realized that the One Piece is only meant to be revealed to the world when someone with the Strawhat makes it to Laughtale. Once Esteban and his friends reached the city of gold (Laugh Tale), and this is pretty insane, we see nothing but a familiar background. This background is almost the same as the first ONE PIECE ending background, "MEMORIES", that being the same song we hear the moment Roger arrived at Laugh Tale. The “great treasure” found in the city of gold is a nuclear fusion reactor, which was greatly desired by the surviving Olmec elders from the ancient war (5 elders). A "great war" of all races against the world government eventually began (foreshadowed by the Grand Fleet) and "Dragon" sacrificing himself to protect what remained of the Ancient Kingdom and our protagonists being free to explore the sea. So what do you guys think? I definitely believe that Oda took inspiration as the similarities are too...similar. With recent theories such as the 5 elders being from the void century, many things are starting to line up. I believe this can be used in future theories, and can most likely be used to predict the end of One Piece.

In regards to the One Piece being the destruction of the Red Line & merging of all the seas, that would make Sengoku's comment that whitebeard has the power to destroy the world actually make sense. Whitebeard's fruit would make destroying the red line relatively easy, and the destruction of the redline both destroys the celestial dragon's home and ends their reign over the OP world, thus destroying the established world order. rn the World Government dominates because they control THE pivotal choke point BUT I've also wondered about Whitebeard's fruit's awakening. What if the awakened form gives the power to freely terraform and join land masses, and the fruit is so dangerous because it can re-join all the islands and countries into 1 giant landmass & unite all the races of the world. This would invariably still mean joining all the oceans and likely involve the destruction of the red line since it's speculated to be an unnatural creation. In fact the world government could've used Whitebeard's fruit to fragment the world then artificially create the redline in the 1st place. If the redline really is unnatural then that means there's some form of terraforming method or technology in the world, and it being an awakened devil fruit makes a lot of sense to me

Im pretty sure for the gaimon theory that oda confirmed the one piece is a tangible object. So it being nothing is very unlikely.

Wanna hear a crazy theory? ✨ It's showed that Buggy The Clown has the chop chop fruit. But it's also called the split split no mi, It's hinted that Buggy may awakened his devil fruit and will split the red line. In which the 4 seas will meet. It'll be named after buggys hair the "All Blue" which is Sanji's quest to find also.

I have a theory that in the current chapters, the straw hats are gonna have to fight an admiral without luffy cuz he's worn out rn, and kuma is going to have to save them. I personally have consistently noticed foreshadowing of Franky and Kuma having a connection and a possibility of Franky gaining Kuma's fruit 🤷🏽‍♂️

The One Piece is a dream generator. Basically One Piece is going to turn into Fairytale people will have the power to bring their dreams to life. The devil fruits are a by product of the generator being turned off because dreams don't stop. LUFFY is the catalyst so he will essentially die at the end

Here's my take on what One Piece is and I firmly sold by it. One Piece is some sort of a "memento" or a mixed of things that belonged to JoyBoy: 1. Diary - if you can recall Roger saying something after reaching Laugh Tale "Oh JoyBoy. I wished I had lived the same era as you" is implying that Roger had read something or seem something that made him say that. And what could be the thing that would make him say that? Some sort of a story or a "diary". Probably written in another poneglyph. 2. Map of the world - if you can recall, while Oden was documenting after they found "One Piece", he said that "we learned that wano was once connected to the world". This is another implication that they really did read "something" and that "something" is a transcript or a diary. And with that, a picture of a world map that showed how was the world way back then at JoyBoy's time. Perhaps the world was in "one piece" at his time and then WG came in and used the ancient weapons to "restructure" the whole world to what it is now. When Roger said that they're too early, I reckon it is because they haven't gathered the ancient weapons that are needed in order to restore the world back to "one piece". I can't recall if Roger already knew what the ancient weapons were prior to discovering "one piece" but pretty sure if he knew, he still didn't know what their uses were until he read it through JoyBoy's "diary" of some sort.

Toki (or previous user od time-time fruit) sent off citizens of the Ancient Kingdom into the future. That's why Roger was "too early" for them to arrive from being sent off into the future.

Last theory makes the most sense , and that would also be a satisfying end to the best masterpiece. Achieving everyone dreams and becoming the one piece itself and helping the reset of the world with ultimate freedom

I like the idea that the one piece is something that brings everybody together into one piece or just a united society. Would destroy the need for the world government and create the society that fits the straw hats ideology. I wonder what Luffy's wish was after wano that nobody on his crew could believe he was going for

Maybe the ancient kingdom was turned to rubber by luffys awakening so you really couldnt access anything because its all warped and funny looking so you really do need joyboy aka luffy aka the one piece is luffy he is the one piece to one peace

Probably in the future when the Strawhats finds the treasure, Luffy would be put in a quick situation to choose between his crew or the treasure.

What if the author wasn't lying that the One Piece was a physical object. What if it literally is just ONE PIECE. Perhaps a single coin that has so much value that even the bounty the world government puts on pirates means nothing. It can definitely satisfy both sides that want the physical and the sentimental aspect of the story.

It’s possible the one piece is the world because the fruits basically spawn on it when the user dies that’s not the only reason but just think of the one piece tree being the world the roots are the walls separating the seas and the devil fruit luffy ate is some sort of way to change it and might be why the devil fruits can go anywhere in the world except water but might not so if I’m wrong I guess I’m wrong😐

whitebeard said one piece is real, he used to talk with roger, who told him about will of d, so basically, roger told him as well about one piece itself, which he found. These two things have to be connected, that is why i think one piece is just big poneglyph with written informations about void century, and so on. Well it maybe several. The marines may have found it and left it empty. The Luffy and crew have to go and find it at another place thus it's nothing at that place. Thus makes luffy and crew remember and treasure the past that got him to this point. Then, they have to decide to go and find it where its been move for the last act. Why does no one climb the Red Line at Reverse Mountain to get to the “end” of the New World?

I believe to treasure that’s at laugh tale is a well of the worlds desires. And like Vegapunk confirmed the desires of people can create devil fruits. And I believe luffys true power is to grant joy, hence joyboy. So I believe luffy will grant everyone’s desires by having to sacrifice himself

If one of the theories about the One Piece being revealed to be nothing, it's not just a reference back to the Gimon arc, it's mainly a reference to one of the most famous books involving pirates Treasure Island by Robert Lewis Stephenson when by the time they got to where the treasure was supposed to be at they found only 2 gold pieces there.

I had a dream once that when the crew got to laughtale, luffy found a single coin on the ground and laughed saying “It’s only one piece!” The whole crew laughed, but once he pulled it out of the ground the sand started sinking and the coin was actually a key to the lost city 🤷‍♀️

Ohara I’ve currently been rewatching Enies Lobby and they did mention that it was impregnable for 800 years (until the straw hats came around), do you think what happened then could have any connection with the crime Zunesha “committed” since it was 800 years ago as well. Maybe you could expand on this. (The 19 of 20 Kings also left to move to Mary Geoise)

with the 1st theory (the tree) the tree could be picked clean of fruits since the blank century when everyone 1st ever ate fruits and maybe they were like "hey joy boy, because you are nice and make everyone laugh you should eat this fruit (nika nika no mi)" and then when all them people died then the fruits kind of respawn and other people ate them and so on, it probably wouldn't have any fruits on it cause there can only be 1 of each devil fruit and from what we have seen, there is a fruit for pretty much everything no matter how useless it is. unless all the people in the blank century ate them fruits then later the tree grew some more but no one has been there since (except Gol D roger but I don't think he took any). also it would be cool if laugh tale was the special advanced kingdom Vega punk was talking about, it could just be some kingdom with a bunch of futuristic buildings surrounding a giant tree, also when Franky described the Adam tree, he said it was a tree in a country witch had a bunch of wars and stuff but yet it was still standing after it all... but wouldn't this island have had a bunch of wars with the world government? to be honest i could go on and on about how this theory works and i kind of already lost my point...

Ohara you should explore the possible theory of Blackbeard and his connection to the mushrooms from Film Red. I havent seen any channel do it yet and youre one of the more qualified channels to do so

My favorite theory that I've heard, might have been from you, I can't remember where I heard it, is that the One Piece is a item that will give Luffy the ability to destroy the Grand Line. Like some type of giant magnet to shift the plates. Now that I've seen this videos, where you talk about Gol D. finding the One Piece and laughing, that sounds less likely, but it's still a possibility.

Literally nobody has done that not Grandline Review, not Tekkin101, not B.D.A., not OHara, not Joygirl, not Murphy, not Legendmac, nobody and I don't understand why. Each cover story can be like a chapter review and explain what has also been going on in the story that many don't know about and also it always seems like even all those channels brush off the cover stories like they aren't important to the story yet NOW they seem interested because they have a direct connection to the current chapters. Many have no idea Eneru is on the moon or that Bon Clay is still alive and the mystery of who was with Crocus after the time skip some say Shiki some say Captain Yorkie. I've seen many theory videos or fun videos that aren't about the events of the story yet NOBODY wants to make a video series about solely the cover series and that's very disappointing.

my theory is it is because its the giant devil fruit tree, Vegapunk confirmed that devil fruit comes from their dreams and that would explain why Roger was laughing on laugh tale because nobody had his dream so his wanted devils fruit was not created yet and he laughed and said he was too early, and the fact that devils fruit users can't swim is because joyboy haven't fulfilled one of his promises and someone who joyboy promised something too got mad and turned joyboy's treasure to be cursed and people who are the devil fruits can't swim

I remember seeing one of those theories of what the One Piece was. And, in one of them, particularly a more comical one, the person said that it was literally just... A piece of gold, the "one piece" that so many people fight, travel and smile for, is nothing but a mere coin. Thus, justifying the reason Roger had laugh so much to find him, because it was nothing more than a "prank" by Joy Boy, with the intention of showing everyone the true face of the world, and how your dreams are the responsible to move you to do incredible things, so many that, in the end, your initial objective becomes irrelevant. After all, it was in the course of it, that you got everything you needed most. I don't know if this theory is correct or, hell, if even any these are even close to be. But, it's with her that I realize how important One Piece is to me, that, just because it exists, I was able to make countless friendships, theorize countless things for hours, see so many emotional scenes... And so much more. Even so, that even I forgot what this great treasure could be, because I just wanted to see our "Nakamas" fulfill their dreams in the end!

The ending will be so uncertain That oda actually will make multiple endings and make different multiple stories in the last 10-15 chapters and says ' suit yourself '😂😂😂

What about this one: what if the One Piece is connected to the Ancient Weapons? It is stated that Roger was basically more of a historian than a typical pirate. What if the One Piece is something that comes together when all the Ancient Weapons come together? The Weapons might not have been created to be weapons at all but might have been misused/feared by the World Government for their individual destructive potential without looking at the bigger picture. It might even match up with Roger saying he is "too early" 'cause we know people can be living weapons as well and maybe, just maybe at least one of the living weapons hadn't been born yet or was too young during Roger's days. (Then again: the fact that I can come up with it means it probably isn't what Oda has planned xD)

The issue I see with many of those theories are that they don't truly fit with Roger's reaction to the One Piece itself

I think in retrospect with Egghead, Joyboy was a Buccaneer hero as Saturn talks about Nika being a legend of theirs. As for the One Piece, I think it's something that ties in with that. I predict that the One Piece itself is a storybook or some form of text that's been lost to time alongside a ton of traditional pirate treasure like gold and riches. It's Joyboy's most prized treasure because it singlehandedly inspired him to become who he was and to free the world. It's a lighthearted tale of an adventurer who unites everyone by bringing laughs to the all and its storybeats will parallel to Luffy's, potentially including the destruction of the Red Line before they find Laughtale as that would unite all of the oceans. The thing that made Roger laugh was Joyboy's note saying something like "If you're here, you've lived this tale and you have brought joy to all. You may claim my treasure." Roger realized he was too early and felt intense happiness knowing the next generation could bring that dream to life, so he left his treasure to further add on to the spoils

One big family,I like it, Luffy's dream is in my opinion so simple but extremely difficult to achieve and because it is so difficult (impossible to be honest) when he does it,when Luffy becomes the pirate king and overthrows the current world government,the wicked one and has a party where everyone can laugh,drink ,sing and more fun things it will make that achievement so gorgeous and grand!! I'll cry when that happens from happiness..and sadness because the moment this happens one piece will be almost over..

Oda confirmed that the one piece is something that will destroy the red line. This makes since because then the All Blue would exist for Sanji and it will be a lot easier for Nami to make a map of the whole world.

The last theory plus some other stuff added on top is my theory. There are many things that go in to proving this theory better than any other

I think imu already showed us the weapon to destroy the red line with. The x on imus map fits the x on the Red line perfectly

I have a feeling the one piece is only accessible to the owner of the gomu gomu no mi; Roger saying it’s to early and the ancient kingdom potentially having the tech to gate keep such thing

Personally I think the whole thing of Roger laughing when he found the one piece and the story of the ancient kingdom and world government formation might be one giant misunderstanding. Pretty much I think something happened where Joyboy tried to do the right thing but ended up making things worse. And that transpired in to a series of events where Joyboy ended up having hilarious epic fails. Leading to a War because so many people were feed up with Joyboy. Pretty much I think it may have been a journey around the world where Joyboy just keep messing things up for a bunch of kingdoms in hilarious fashion.

My theory, and yes its not a very good one but still, is that the one piece is a certain devil fruit. The Human-Human model Nika fruit. Roger being the troll he strikes me to be just took it with him and left behind the belief in the "one piece" so that someone may go back to laughtale and read the instructions for the fruit.

Strawhats might actually head to the moon, with Vegapunk and Franky expertise to build the ship in order to get there, it would be possible.

Been wondering... Given how wiped Luffy was right before his awakening-- think his DF can "stretch" his Haki as well? His Haki must've been straight out done at this point but Used it like nothing at G5.

think oda confinrmed its nothing intangible like "the friends we made along the way". its surely part of it, you cant reach the onepiece alone but i think it will be linked to the ancient kingdom or even destroying the redline.

Oda already confirmed that it’s not “nothing” or the friends along the way. It’s a physical object, most likely the all blue caused by the destruction of the red line, and the uniting the whole globe into one piece
