When I was in Cambodia for my school trip, our hosts brought us some durian. We found that half our group hadn't eaten durian so we asked them to try. One girl loved it, four of them cried while trying to finish one seed. Three of the four didn't finish while the last guy just sobbed the whole way and told himself "I love durian so much" while eating and crying.

The last part was exactly what I have experienced. Me and my friend ordered one durian to eat and when the durian seller came to settle the bill, it was $56 and we both were stunned. One small durian cost $56 !
