It's confirmed by Valve that Chell actually CAN speak, but she chooses not to so she doesn't give the robots the satisfaction of hearing her voice. She'd probably speak to Gordon if they were to meet. The question really is whether or not Gordon would reply.

There's a slight flaw here... In this, Chelle has the knee replacements. The knee replacements were exclusive to the original Portal. This escape is based on Portal 2. In Portal 2, she has the long boots. NOT the knee replacements. So the scene where she shows off the portal gun is incorrect.

Actually this fits neither of the endings if you want to get technical. Gordon was still in Stasis during the events of Portal, and has been long dead by the end of Portal 2.

@@wta1518 no, Chell woke up in 2026-2031, she couldn't possibly have woken up in 9999999, because, in the announcer's sound files, there were around 50 nines, so then that would mean Chell was asleep for 274000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000... Now, I don't care how technologically advanced Aperture is, there is NO WAY, Chell could be in there for that long, and, if you see other containers in the Extended Relaxation Center, the period of time between "packing" and "expiration" dates were 20 years, so, it can only keep a human alive and healthy for 20 years, which suggests Chell was asleep for even less than 20 years, as she still has the physical capabilities to go through enrichment center testing, and, if Chell really were asleep for 27400000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 years, then there would be no way the enrichment center still remained, it takes nature 40 years to completely reclaim a city, so the enrichment center in that much time would be nothing more than vegetation... Chell went to sleep in 2011, and woke up in 2026-2031...

See, that ending is a bit wrong though. The modifications made to his HEV suit between Half-Life and Half-Life 2 made it so they had resistance to falling, so if that takes place after Half-Life, he wouldn't have the Gravity Gun, and if it was after Half-Life 2, he has the resistance to falling, so... it's impossible.

Only problem with this is that you can only portal on surfaces covered with the gel made from moon rocks. So, unless both of the surfaces she used the gun on happened to use materials from the moon, they would have just fizzled.

Not really, portals can be shot on any smooth surface and with enough size for the portal. Surfaces covered with the gel conversion are better conductors of portals, but are not the only ones. (sorry for the english)

That never did make sense to me, Gordon takes fall damage although he’s in a suit of armor (although that only increases your weight, thus increasing your fall speed) but Chell just has these weird things strapped to her calves? The boots make more sense, although they’d also need something to suspend their internal organs to keep them from smashing all around inside their bodies. but screw real world science, video games don’t have to make sense if they’re fun.
