Anakin had million dollar talent and a 100 dollar head on his shoulders. It took him getting beat within an inch of his life before he worked on his mental game. The Marvel Comics are doing a great job with Vader, Vader would have beaten Anakin. "Full potential Anakin" is a myth. The closest we will ever get to that is Legends Luke Skywalker. It's ironic that Vader became more like Obi-Wan and maximized his limited potential. The character who do the most when given the least are always the most interesting characters.

You know, despite Anakin being more powerful potential wise than Vader, I still believe that Vader was much stronger than Anakin under both Legends and Canon due to the fact that he became more versatile with his fighting skills and I like to believe both explanations are true, like in Legends, Vader became weaker potential wise but like Canon, he became stronger due to the dark side feeding off his negative emotions and giving him the boost despite losing some of potential
Nope Vader was constantly fighting his armor and used a significant amount of force energy to counteract a lot of his armor's limitations. Anakin if trained to full potential would have wiped the floor with post Armor Vader.
