Last Scene of TLJ there was a Force Connection between Kylo and Rey (Snoke's Manipulations)

he was extremely powerful, as seen by his powers in the film and that he was able to turn kylo. however, he was too arrogant in thinking that he could control kylo in his current state, both physically and mentally.

When it comes to the ones the reason Anakin was able to hold them was specifically because he was the chosen as stated by the father in that episode I believe so I don't believe his raw power was his reason for being able to hold them but that was just one aspect of the reason

There was also force bonds in ep 5 between Luke and Lea, and Luke and Vader. This is the first time the force bond ability is shown.

Force Bonds were routinely forged by Meetra Surik, the Jedi Exile, and that's why she lost her connection to the force a Malachor 5. She shut herself off from it to survive the loss of all those bonds. Remember, it was Meetra Surik who was bonded with Darth Traya (Kreia) in Knights of the Old Republic 2.

I would say he is similar in power to Vader but with a very different moveset. Vader focuses on keeping himself alive and telekinesis, while Snoke does have telekinesis his big focus is on the mind, the big example being the mind bridge thingie.

Also he is creative with his lighting!

His name drove me nuts the first time I heard it. And every time after that. I feel like they just wanted to one up the original trilogy with pretty much every character in 7-9. Rey being a Mary Sue. Kylo having abilities seemingly more advanced than we ever see Vader do. It goes right down to Starkiller Base. It was all just a big one up on previously seen stuff.

I have a theory, Snoke use to be a Sith maybe in the Old Republic age but then he was (like Thanos) a War Monger if you would and really rich, like a full fledge Sith and used the force to keep him alive but as he got older and had accomplished much, he stopped using the force to keep him alive and just was waiting to to get killed and was just looking for a suitable apprentice to keep the sith going maybe and found that in Ben so started tempting him but once he got Ben now Kylo found that him being unstable made him weak and then scenced Rey a counter balance to Kylo (and I think Snoke is the guy to have two apprentices and just watch them fight to see who is stronger) and I think wanted to train Rey instead but now I'm just getting off subject, we all saw Maul survive getting cut in half and survive with his anger so Snoke definently could have I think he didn't want to though (he doesn't seen to use anger, he seems pretty calm usely and just uses the force not light or dark just the force) Snoke has no reason to stay alive he has already done anything that he needed to do... And imagine if Snoke did use the dark side of the force to move faster like Palps, and I think in force powers Snoke and Palps are about even, Snoke said he witnessed the rise and fall of the empire and I think he was as old as Palps if not older therefore wiser with more experience (unless Snoke is a rouge failed clone of Palps then he would be just as powerful.

We can't assume that because we saw feats unique to these movies and these characters, that old characters vader, sidious, yoda etc. Didn't posses them. Most of what snoke did was an extension of mind tricks, telepathy, and telekinesis. The only reason we have these is because new writers came up with "new" ideas.

One thing and then many questions. The Dark Side wears down the body and there is a link between Snoke and Darth Sidious which would likely cause harm to his body. However when Vader and Kylo find Exegol we see Snokes in tubes and they already have the damage to their head and face. Questions: Was Anakin as powerful as The Father? Are you saying Maul or Ezra are as strong as Snoke? Or that Maul and Ezra are a Dryad? Is the Bendu an eternity? We see that Sidious has Luke's hand and says he can make anything with it, so is Snoke Luke's DNA son or a clone? If Sidious used Luke's hand and Sidious used his DNA, is Snoke a Skywalker and a Palpatine? If so he would have been the strongest Force Sensitive person ever!

I have two theories, first one is I think he was as strong as people thought because he trained kylo in the dark side and was able to keep the Mary Sue ray from using the force, I think he was just power drunk on the fact that he got Kylo to capture Ray, to the fact that he either want paying attention at all to his surroundings to where kylo was able to kill him Second, I think that he actually wanted kylo to kill him because if you watch him place rays lightsaber on the arm of the chair, he placed it kind of intently where he wanted it to be, kind of like telling kylo to do it, to kill him

I don't believe Snoke is dead yet. Darth Maul was cut in half and thrown down one of those 'bottomless pits" Star Wars always has handy and he survived. Snoke could easily be alive.

I think that darth sion (kotor 2) is a great example of the dark side latching a soul to a body. And he’s canon too.

Also personally give me a light saber a about 10 minutes to get the hang of it and even I could defeat snoke , rey and kylo easily then I would make a peaceful transition to the new galactic empire !

The ones are celestials , they are supposed to be the closest and purest with the force , outside of the pristesses i guess , they are op if we go by legends material .Snoke if we go by leaks is also supposed to be pretty dam powerfull , by also having esence transfer , fore walking etc and his origin is also from the beyond , like he was born there and in there there are organism that can enhance the force more , so he should be well above Sidious so far but ofc only if there is an amount of truth in those leaks .

Snoke is Palpatine. The reason snoke looks the way he does is Palpatine took someone’s vessel and the dark side is eating the body up.

One of the things that would have made the movie better was if it was revealed snoke needed to die so snoke could "force" his way into kylo. He needed a younger body. This way, people could believe kylo could return to the light but he cant now because snoke is using his body now. Too bad

I would say very powerful, but probably not as much as Palpatine. He barely lifted a hand to strike Kylo with lightning and rag doll Rey, just don’t know how he would do against Papa Palpatine.

I see a lot of hate towards snoke and Him dying so early. If you didn't know palpatines only had 30 more seconds of screen time in the original trilogy than snoke in the sequel. So by saying he is not powerful for dying so early you're essentially saying palpatine is weak for dying.🤯🤯🤯

to me it just looks like snoke did intentionally let himself killed by the lightsaber and its part of some plot who will be revealed in the next movie. so i wouldnt be so sure he couldnt scale with the "ones in power"
