Bro you are easily the best channel for producers on RU-vid. Been watching for a while and can tell you’re very smart and good at deconstructing things. I have a challenge for you man. No body has EVER made a tutorial on how Viper the Rapper makes his beats. I know he’s a meme but he has some very interesting beats sometimes. If you made a tutorial on how viper makes beats like he did on his album Hiram Clark Hustla I think you’d solidify yourself as the king of producer tutorials
If I cut my computer on and look at any tutorial regardless of the topic. I will definitely go to your page and look 👀 at something on your page from this day forward. You are truly a blessing. You break down other producer production as if you were actually their when they first started the song. I’m like wtf, as fa as I’m concerned when it comes down to breaking shit down your a genius better yet a God. Ain’t no way in the world I’m looking at shit without checking out what ever you do. My goal is to focus on everything your saying an do it, and continue and continue. Your A Blessing . Thank you from my heart. 🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🎶🎶🎶🎶🕺🏾🕺🏾🔥🔥
Excellent tip at 9:40 I’m a god at overcomplicating all of my beats and choosing wack ass sounds & I just end up abandoning 75% of the projects I start lol
By far the best production tutorial channel I have come across on youtube, been going through all your videos and picking up the details from each one and I'm already noticing a difference in quality of my own beats, as someone who got into production just this year I can't be more thankful. Keep up the good work, bro.

Definitely Q&A. I have a bunch of hyper specific questions about beat-making that are really hard for me to find answers to on the internet. For example the best way to avoid transients when drums hit at the same time. There’s plenty of methods but they never sound good when I execute them. Would be great to hear your take on our questions
@@mulamoon Reduce as much collision as possible. Eq out the high ends of the specific 808 and kicks that are colliding and cut the lows for the snares and claps for the same reason. or just use different drum sounds.
@@Finnathegod Thanks for the reply. Even after having done those things with good cohesive drum sounds there will still be peaks. Generally what I do is if I have a regular 2-step hi hat pattern, I dip the volume of the hat when the snare hits. But it kind of reduces the impact. With that in mind I will sometimes just route both sounds to another mixer track & add a hard limiter. Seems to retain some of the impact but the limiting is noticeable. I just wonder how artists like wifisfuneral can stack a loud ass kick and loud ass snare on top of each other (like in ItTakes2ToTango for example) without losing any of the punch and energy. There must be more tricks besides just EQ and limiting. Also a video on mixing trap beats for loudness would be appreciated! I have such a hard time understanding that shit & my beats are always too quiet even when the LUFS is where it should be. Love your videos.
Finna I have question. Why sometimes I make beats with same mixing/mastering and even sounds use same levels but everytime dynamics sound different. And sometimes beat is very muddy but the another one isn't
Absolutely great tutorial. one small suggestion: If you can play out the sound of the midi patterns when you show them, that would be so helpful! Thanks for your great work.
Hey fire vid bro!! Your content is clear and relevant as usual! I wanted to know at 5'15 what preset makes this bell sound in your melody? It sounds so cool
Just grind bro most of us here already knew this... if you ain’t you’re either : a) not grinding hard enough b) not grinding hard enough... up until a few months ago I would touch FL for 1-2 hours & once in a blue moon... wondered how everyone had the “secret sauce” ... stopped playing games , partying , etc and it was night and day how far I came along within just two weeks... start listening to your fav songs as a producer.. and like duh right? But GENUINELY as a producer.. I used to here and there but now I solely listen to every beat in order to LEARN ONE thing AT LEAST.. like Givenchy Kickin by Calboy the other night... learned a new snare pattern i can implement more , where in the pattern Pyrex puts his longer 1/6th rolls... you do this you’ll notice the insane progression too bro:)
Can anybody give me an updated run through of where all these functions are now in the sample editor in fl 20 or at least which of the 3 tool areas they fall into. Much appreciated 🙏
Ctrl + u makes rolls with the grid that You have on at that moment , if You use only alt + u You Will only make 1/4 rolls but if You use 1/3 step or 1/6 beat with ctrl + u You chop in the grid .
ik it’s a weird question but do u think the actually computer volume to your headphones matters?? like a specific volume it should be around bc i keep my volume at like 20
@@Finnathegod Kind of a shame, because stuff like NewTime is quite good and useful. In terms of other stuff, would be interesting to see something that was glitch focused.
Hopefully you see this, knew about everything in here except ONE thing... I’ve done EXTENSIVE research on Pyrex and sizzle in particular (as much as we can get from the outside) you must have some inside knowledge and insight so I’m just wondering .. WTF ?! No soft clipper everyone has said he mixes into the soft clipper off the get go (ie: adjusts levels and boosts sound levels with soft clipper active) .. if he uses NO soft clipper he just sends out beats to artists clipping and all?! Or is this the perks of being a top producer with engineers at your disposal??
