The guy painted, calm, in a tank top and without respiratory protection in the middle of a mist of paint, does he even have lungs? Production report: - cost of raw materials and energy: as elsewhere and perhaps even cheaper - investment in industrial premises: close to zero - tool investment: close to zero - wages: close to zero - personal protective equipment: zero - social charges: zero - paid leave: zero - trouble with the unions: zero Morality: I want to be boss in this country!
@Richard: Do you know the definition of a powered tool? They used welders, angle grinders, paint guns, circular saws, ovens, impacts guns for the entire video.
@@Chris-yy7qc bro you'll be here all day addressing these dumb comments. These videos are riddled with them. Between that and people circle jerking around their "skill" and "craftsmanship" 😂
I really enjoy watching your videos and the craftsmanship, but I always wonder why these workers always work on the ground? It looks so uncomfortable, fatiguing and added stress on the body. Why don’t they build on standard height work benches? Thanks for your great content, Peace, Sal 💪🏼
There are few factors involved in squat work , First there are no quality control systems to exam the quality of the products and work environment therefore businesses are free to exploit labor because work benches require more space and equipment that will increase the startup cost many folds, and an other factor is the lowest class or labor class in this country has a tradition of working while squating that is another reason that a business never has to face an issue while providing a work enviroment without following any civilized standards
Have you seen Chinese Tai Chi exercises, or even Indian Yoga exercises, the Asian people are able to bend their bodies in much more interesting ways, which Western people can only imagine. So, squatting, bending, standing, is not a problem, and actually healthy. Even toilets in those countries, are Squatting Toilet, and The Western Toilets, where you sit, are called, Western Commode. Western People have become too lazy, to say the least. Hope this explains the squatting and working on the bare ground, a little.
According to survey's, there are 10 million people in Pakistan who have vision impairment from mild to blind. This is the worlds highest degree of vision impairment.
What survey? India ranks the highest with over 79 million, then India, and Pakistan is 7th, The USA is 9th, not far behind. So your facts are bullshit.
APPRECIATE THE QUALITY OF THE WORK IN SUCH CONDITIONS, BUT THE WEIGHT OF THAT BEING TOWED BY A 100CC ENGINE WITH 3-4 PASSENGERS, MIGHT TRY USING TUBULAR ALUMINIUM, 1/3 THE WEIGHT OF STEEL,
This painter needs wear a mask or some covering not having those paint fumes go into his lungs. Hope he gets the message and protects his lungs from getting cancer or some other respiratory disease. From Canada 🇨🇦
In the US south, this is called the butterbean squat. If you have ever had to take junk and make it into something then you understand. I still work this way. Just a kid picking butterbeans.
It's both sad and inspirational to see such videos. Sad because owners take full advantage of these workers.. They do it because they can.. For each job a 100 applicants and no legal recourse. Inspirational, inspite of these conditions, these workers are working hard to put food on the table. Doesn't seem to be anyone over 30-35 working at this place. Next generation already apprentices.
These are semi skilled trades people. They make enough money to buy boots and proper welding helmet. A Pakistani commenter mentioned that the boss could buy it for them but they wouldn't use it. Maybe he's talking shit. My concern as a worker where there isn't a social safety net is my health and longevity to do the work. I would be wearing steel caps and proper ear and eye protection. That's affordable. The longer term problem is respiratory. Those surgical masks are worthless. Maybe a fan to redirect the worst of the fumes.
That is the best they can do. I would bet their employers don’t spring for safety equipment and if they complain they’ll be replaced. They probably aren’t making the equivalent of $3/hour.
I’m welder, what great skill you have I’ll weld sheet steel with mig but I know I would asking trouble if tried to sheet steel with arc keep up good from your Aussie cousin terry
I really like their use if various jigs. They have good skills, although their equipment and shop could be better. The main thing as some have already mentioned they need PPE. It is no laughing matter, their work conditions could most cause personal health issues and injuries. It would be nice if someone were able to gift to them some PPE, especially welding helmets and long cuffed gloves. Just my opinion. -Rob in Tennessee
I have more respect for these workers than others in most so called civilised countries, they are hard working with no complaints, they are always smiling and chatting with each other, they go to work and roll out these stunning pieces of usable working art. If I was to get one, it be the very pretty purple one😹😹😹 Anywhere else in the world and they would be tools down calling for the union rep because of the conditions.
Love this! No government bureaucrat standing behind them telling them what safety and environmental guidelines they must follow or potential fines! They just build rickshaws as quick as possible to fulfill their customers needs and purchase orders! Now THIS is how to get stuff done! The Chinese do the same stuff and just get jobs done!
Hmm, what to say about this one... this is a real mix - some parts of the design are quite clever, but there's an insane number of weld points in this build that don't add strength and seem purely to be there to save a few nuts and bolts. Also, some of the welding is just horrible, yet other joints seem to be quite good. Weird.
The quality of the welding depends on which pair of sunglasses the guy picked up when he got to work. If he was last to arrive, you're going to get some pretty dodgy welds...
Love the OSHA approved safety sandals and sunglasses/welding helmet. The invisible respirator that the painter's wearing is a nice touch! Whats the average life expectancy? 20 ? Or am i being overly optimistic ?Lol!
Life expectancy is 71.5 years for women and 67.3 years for men In 2020, men in the United States lived to be 74 years old on average, but the following year the average life expectancy had dropped to 73 years. In 2020, women reached the age of 80, but last year the expected life expectancy was just over 79 years.
I was raised in a shop/garage with my grandfather, he did mechanic work, paint and body. He didnt wear a mask and we lost him in his 50s, the paint ruined his lungs.
where to buy such safety boots and welding glasses? here in Finland we only have welding mask and normal aluminium toe safety boots. but i want those see thru safety boots since I have beatyful toes
