Indian Railways is the 4th largest rail network in the world spanning more than 68,000 km.
844 crore passengers use it every year for intercity or regional travel journeys. It was first started in 1837 and has played a significant role in the Indian society and remains an intergral part of it.

Awesome video🙌❤ 21:28 But to be honest it was kind a disappointing to see stats of 1947 to 2022 when we compare that to 19th-20th century, We need to focus on rail connectivity in north eastern states. I know its easier to be said that done since the terrain makes it very difficult as compared to other states but hope so we improve even more

This can be attributed to the fact that all the high capacity and high demand routes like Mumbai-Delhi, Chennai-Mumbai, Pune-Hyderabad or Kolkata-Delhi have already been built during British era. Any new routes can't be guaranteed with considerable amount of traffic because many of the most important lines already exist, thus discouraging the government to go so far to build new ones instead of just upgrading or widening the existing network.
