Shipped my M18 Fuel Sawzall a couple weeks ago (downloaded free UPS shipping label). Variable speed trigger quit working. They were in contact with me from day 1. Got it back yesterday. Repaired and ready to put to work. Didn't cost me a dime. Love my Milwaukee products.

I just got my m18 impact back it took about 2 weeks to get it back, they couldn't fix it and sent a brand new one I was very pleased.

I’ve been without my impact for almost two months. First time they didn’t even address the issue I sent it in for did some random repair for low rpms. Sent it back with the same problem so I sent it right back to them. They have had it for two weeks so far and nothing. Their stuff is too expensive to not even work a year. Guess what does still work... my 9 year old porter cable.

Seems like their service is totally unpredictable in both the UK and US. I've read around and am none the wiser as to whether I should buy their tools on the basis of their servicing.

I sent in an impact 3 months ago... Still haven't gotten it back and when I called to check the status. They hung up on me after waiting 42 min on hold. So I called back and was put on hold again for 26 min and hung up on again. I got pissed and emailed them. Still haven't gotten a reply back and it's been a month. I'm done with Milwaukee. I don't care how "good" their tools are. There are way better companies to deal with to have to put up with this BS. I will gladly paid more for my tool truck cordless tools because when they break down. My dealer will hand me a loaner to use while my tool is being repaired or just hand me a new one.

Milwaukee warranty absolutely sucks they've had my 3/8 ratchet for over 2 months and they have no idea when it will come back. Their certified service center in Nashville "Tool Smith" is blaming Milwaukee and Milwaukee blames Tool Smith what a huge mess on what was basically my favorite tool. Buyer beware

Sent off my 3/8 stubby after it crapped out after 11 months of owning it. Been over a month now and haven't heard a word about it. Bout ready to just trade all my electric impacts over to Matco and Snap On.

thanks for this vid, for power tools - is there a life time warranty? What type of things would they cover? Lets say 5 years down the line? Thank you.

I know Craftsman had and probably still does have a lifetime warranty but who wants to use them anymore? Ridgid has a lifetime battery replacement and I think as long as you are a casual user or doing medium to light duty work they are a pretty good tool. I know some other brands claim "lifetime" but in the fine print it pretty much excludes every possible scenario.

He keeps looking to his left at the Milwaukee exec w/ a framer pointed at him. Really though, Milwaukee does have the best warranty in the game. Unless I find a super deal on another brand I'm always buying Milwaukee cordless and corded.

Is there anyway to get updates on the tool you sent in?

They contacted me with each step via email, from in transit, arrived, accessing, repairing and shipped. It was flawless.

@@michaelwebb57 they didn't give me any updates, I can't rememeber if I gave them my email, but they did either fix or replace my work light.

@@Wes36Man Glad they repaired it. When I did the paperwork for initial return it asked how I wished to be contacted. I chose email because I'm not always available via landline and I don't have cell service where I live. I was so impressed by their updates, guess I should say surprised as well, but they were very thorough. Once it said shipped on the email, no charge, I was more impressed. It arrived the next day. Service was fantastic.

@@michaelwebb57 I was very happy with their customer service and free shipping. Took about 2 weeks in total, if I remember correctly, from when I shipped my item until I got it back.
