How REV Rides Fixed The KingSong s22 Recall

In case you didn't know, KingSong's brand new s22 had a recall for it's stator. Since their factory solution left so many customers unsatisfied and waiting for months, we here at REV Rides decided to take it upon ourselves to fix this issue with the help of our friends at Fordyce Design and Manufacturing LLC: www.fdm-llc.com/

Fantastic! As much as I wish you and other retailers didn't have to deal with fixing manufacturer QA issues, I'm so grateful that we've got competent people keeping us on our wheels. Still, I hope this doesn't become the norm, you shouldn't need to take responsibility for fixing manufacturer's faulty products - but thanks for picking up the slack.

Last year Rev Rides wasn't even on the radar with eWheels and AlienRides taking center stage.. but Rev rides is REALLY stepping it up. nice to know if something goes wrong their warranty is ("wait 3 months for the new part to arrive so we can send it to you and YOU fix it yourself")

The factory probably wouldn't do it that way, but they would have the advantage of doing their fix in the middle of the manufacturing process. This is truly a very nice aftermarket fix. Yes, its expensive, but probably cheaper than sending the wheel to china and back plus the factory's cost to fix it, not to mention the time saved.

How many stators have to be processed before this project is done?

This process has been ongoing for about a month. All customers who sent their S22 in for this repair have been serviced and we can continue to process stators for non customers who need it! Email service@revrides.com if you have any questions about it!

Kingsong doesn't make the motors, they buy them.

@@landocycle True, Kingsong should recall/replace the faulty motors, and make the motor manufacturer eat the cost of doing so. And now that they are aware of the situation, Kingsong should do some kind of inspection/testing of the motors they buy from now on.

You guys rock - Kingsong suck. Kingsong fix stator and slider .... you kept ppl waitng for over a year and you are selling wheels that need extra fix and repair. NOT OK
